We were a group of nine trekkers and after 5 nights of staying in basic refuges in dormitories, the simple but clean private rooms with basin were just what we needed. The beds were comfortable, the shared showers hot and plentiful and the food excellent. The hosts were attentive to our needs and provided good service, including great vegetarian meals for two of our group. Our stay was good value and we appreciated the extras like use of a washing machine and a garden at the back of the gite.

Great location for hiking the GR5 as it is right on the route. But 1. The rooms are noisy as they overlook the road and there is traffic driving past. The doors are thin so you can hear people in the corridor. 2. You cannot get into the room until 5.00pm which is a problem if you arrive in the middle of the afternoon 3. The food is awful 4. There are no towels even though the website says they have them 5. The room is very basic and the bed is very hard and uncomfortable to sleep in. It's such a shame because there are so many other great refuges on the GR5.

L'accueil est sympathique, une chambre petite mais propre et confortable, une bonne restauration, en résumé un très bon rapport qualité prix pour une étape sur le GR5. Et pout une modeste contribution supplémentaire, l'aubergiste met à disposition sa machine à laver. Un gite à recommander .

Gite au confort basique (douche, WC palier) mais très propre et lavabo dans chambre . Excellent rapport qualité/prix pour une étape entre 2 rando ! Drap fourni , serviette en sup ou apporter son drap de bain ! Adaptation pour végétariens et accueil chaleureux. Parking à côté du gîte. Ouverture à 17h tout à fait raisonnable, accès au jardin du gîte pour patienter si besoin ! Petit déjeuner entre 7h30 et 8h30 ok avant rando..s il faut noter un petit bemol;) un petit morceau de fromage serait bienvenu ! Grande salle de détente (frigo et bouilloire à dispo)et jardin. Sympathique adresse. Nous reviendrons !
