AlBander Hotel & Resort

I'm at the hotel. It's actually very sad. The pool is not working - post until 21. Then it will be turned on. The beach is dirty and unkempt. "all inclusive" is breakfast, lunch and dinner a la carte. And 2 small bottles of water in the room. And nothing else during the day. I had to go to a small, shabby store next to the hotel to buy water and juice. All drinks are only available during meals. At the reception, no one is interested in tourists from Russia. Only nice to others. They simply brush us off; if you try to get through to us, it’s impossible. Although the number of rooms is old, and something is not working. I had to go and talk. And try to get the remote control or toilet fixed. I don’t recommend this hotel to my compatriots at all. You will be disappointed. The water in the lagoon is stagnant, the bottom is muddy and does not smell very good. You can't swim well in the sea. Everything is blocked by huge floating pipes. In general, it does not justify the money spent. And yes, travel agencies can offer nothing other than excursions. And even more so to help solve some problems. Since the plane was at night, we wanted to extend our stay by 1/2 day. The price tag is such that you will have to sit somewhere from 12.00 to 22. Plus pay for food in the restaurant. Which is also so-so.

This is a small resort in a port complex. It has small bungalows with spacious and pleasantly furnished rooms. Each bungalow has a terrace and a small section of beach. The housekeeping staff does a great job. There is a pool, some of which have broken loungers. There is also a seawater pool. As this is a partition in the bay, there is almost no water exchange. The water is therefore more like a pond. This section, which is referred to as the "beach", is also very small. The breakfast buffet is sufficient. The whole complex looks dingy and run-down and is in urgent need of renovation. Jet skis whiz past in front of the complex at an enormous volume. This should be banned: after all, the guests want to relax. The worst thing, however, is that you are at the very end of the world. There is no supermarket nearby. There are also no taxis outside the door. These are expensive and have to drive from Manama. Without your own car, you are completely lost. The reception is unwilling and completely overwhelmed. For example, there was no cold water the whole time, neither in the sink nor in the shower. The tap water was so hot that it almost scalded you. I complained about this. After 4 days, the problem was still not solved.
