This is a charming boutique hotel, off the beaten path, so if you don't like crowds this is for you. There is a private beach with chairs and umbrellas a short walk from the hotel. They serve breakfast only, which is excellent, all other meals must be taken in town so a car is highly recommended. The stars of this hotel are the two hosts, Michalis and Daniela who work long days and nights to ensure that their guests are happy. They do everything, front desk, cooking and setup of breakfast, cleaning of all rooms, etc. I was amazed at what an excellent job they did, and the hotel was at capacity! I cannot say enough good things about those two! We had 16 people in our group and everyone raved about those two. The only cons - the A/C could not keep up with the extreme heat and it was difficult to sleep some nights. The owner rented us his boat and when we tried to refuel it we realized he did not leave the fuel key. We spent most of the day anchored swimming so we did not use much fuel. He then accused us of using ALL the fuel and said we owed him an additional 120 EU. Knowing that the tank was still 1/2 full, we said we'd come back to fill it up ourselves. When we arrived, surprise! no fuel key again! We searched everywhere, (again), on his boat looking for the key, wasting over an hour, (2 hours including round trip transit), of our time. I have been a professional mariner for over 20 years so I know my way around boats, there was no way that that key was left anywhere on the boat. If he was so mad that we "left it on empty", why didn't he meet us there with the key? This man is a scam artist and completely tainted what was otherwise a great trip.

We had fond memories of visiting the hotel two years ago. It was a lovely and calm holiday that I recommended to numerous people, so we decided to visit again this year. Unfortunately, we experienced the worst holiday of our lives. On the second day of our 8 night stay, the hotel had NO WATER WHATSOEVER, so we were forced to book a room in a different hotel in order not to go to bed covered in salt and sand. We were ready to let that slide but every day after that, there was NO HOT WATER from 5 o’clock until the morning. We were denied the most basic amenity, after electricity, that every hotel advertising itself as a 3 star accommodation, and charges more than most hotels of that caliber in Halkidiki has. We were jerked around and told the boiler that warms the water does not have the capacity to service all guests of the hotel. In addition, there was NO WiFi in our room, AT ALL! Even though the hotel advertises that it does. Weeks after this horrible experience we are still being jerked around by the owner telling us: no such issues exist, WiFi in the rooms is not advertised, the only compensation he can offer us is a free weekend during the offseason - basically treating his guests like fools. He has no remorse for ripping us off, ruining our holiday, wasting our time and has no interest in providing a decent service, only taking your money.

This is not a review of the propety managers and their outstanding customer setvice. In fact it is why i chose to return here with 14 friends and family after visiting last yr. The problem is the owner and his sense of greed. We spent over 4000 euros for 5 nights. The property is clean and safe. There is a private beach. The breakfast is included. Its a great place to take friends and family as long as you dont rent the owners boat! When we went to pick up the boat at Porto Carass we wandeted around in the heat for a 1/2 hr. Before I finally found Gilligan. The fuel tank was only 3/4 full. We returned with half a tank and couldn't put fuel in it because he didnt leave a key. Next day he says i owed him 120 euros because it was empty. I return to the marina to replace the fuel we used another 1hr. Of my trip wasted to find again there was no fuel tank key. And this time the fuel gauge wound not register and the nav map would not turn on. So? Im ranting over a man that finds its more important to antagnoize and inconvenience his guests that just dropped 4k euros than say hey no problem, dont worry about it. I pay what I owe and dont ask for anything free. I also know how not to piss off a customer that is now not ever going to come back and neither will his friends and family! He just doesnt get it. Again, the man and woman that manage this place all by themselves are awesome and im sorry they have to work for this money grubber.

I booked tow rooms here and stayed 3 days 2 nights with 6 family members. As a service, The hotel deposit requirements were waived due to a bank transfer issue. This made me feel good knowing that they would work with us and let us pay upon arrival. All they asked was for me to confirm our stay 14 days prior to arrival. This property is clean, safe and private. I was amazed that only 2 staff members managed and operated the entire property. Cooked Breakfast, cleaned rooms, front desk reception. They did it all. They would be up till midnight serving guest drinks and then have breakfast ready in the morning. The beach is clean and private, although there is no direct access, you must make a small 200 ft. walk around a private residence to the beach. The property is within a 15 minute drive to Neos Mamaras which is a nice eclectic community. You must try the Panos Restaurant about a mile away from the hotel. Fantastic food and unbelievable value, except the seafood is a higher cost. Great atmosphere and a beautiful view. I highly recommend this property if you want a private beach, privacy and local flavor without the crowded beaches, I can recommend this property
