Parrots Sitges Hotel

The room is comfortable, clean, pleasant, quiet. The reception staff were super attentive, as well as in the adjacent premises. We have spent three wonderful nights, in a great location for our needs. Wonderful atmosphere throughout the city.

We were guests in June 2022 and had a double room with a balcony on the first floor. The room faced the street, where the tables of the Parrots Bar's outdoor terrace are located below the balcony. In the evening, a clear level of noise can be heard, this comes from the bars directly next to the hotel and from the surrounding pubs and bars. Probably not recommended for those sensitive to noise - otherwise acceptable and bearable. The rooms and bathroom are very spacious and clean. The breakfast offered was good and egg dishes (e.g. omelette, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, etc.) were prepared on request. The staff at reception were always friendly and helpful. If you book directly with the hotel, you get a bottle of Cava as a welcome and a bottle of water every day. There were parasols for the beach that you could borrow free of charge. All in all, a good stay in a central city location (very central to the bars in the area), and close to the city beach.

I spent this weekend at Parrots and I only have words of gratitude for their staff and especially for Fabio who, with his kindness and attention, resolved a problem with the RUMBO company. I put you in background; I had a reservation through Rumbo for this weekend from Friday to Sunday and without telling me anything, they canceled it. My surprise was when on Friday I called direction to ask them to resend me the confirmation in case I needed it at the hotel and they told me that my reservation was cancelled. I did not cancel it and they did not give me any response, only that they were sorry. Furthermore, the cancellation was supposedly made in English and when I called the Parrots Hotel they confirmed that it was canceled and that I appeared to be Swiss when I am Spanish!!! Rumbo has not done anything about it and I have had to be the one who has this problem. On top of that they charge much more than other Booking-style companies, they have terrible customer service that leaves the customer to fend for themselves without a solution. I have asked to speak to a person in charge and I am still waiting. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING RUMBO AT ALL for your trips and reservations... unless you want to run the risk of being left stranded. Anyway, I just want to thank Fabio again for his kindness and for managing the situation and allowing me to enjoy this weekend at his hotel! I WILL BE BACK WITHOUT A DOUBT!!!
