We were blown away with this hotel, it was even better than we expected. Upon arrival, we instantly commented on how spotless it was and this continued throughout the entire hotel. Our room was immaculate, the cleaners do a fantastic job and I hope they get the recognition they deserve. Breakfast was amazing, eggs cooked to your preference, fresh juices, English breakfast aswell as continental. There was plenty of choice. Staff across the entire hotel were super friendly and helpful. Overall, I would personally rate this hotel 5 stars. It was so peaceful and relaxing which is exactly what we were after. We enjoyed walks into town which was about 20 minutes, plenty of tavernas on the way. Would highly recommend Paradise Cove which is right by the harbour, Amelias for a brilliant atmosphere and Pink Flamingo.

Brilliant hotel and the whole team of staff are so friendly. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very well equipped, plenty of plug sockets. The beds are extremely comfortable and great free air-conditioning. The fridge is well stocked with free water plus tea and a coffee machine which are filled daily. The safe is also complementary. The breakfast is excellent, 3 pools and the sunbeds are the most comfortable we have ever seen. Overall a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend it to all adults.

There is only one word to describe Vasia sea retreat. Marvellous ! everything about this place is perfect. we stayed for 3 weeks in room414 our balcony overlooking the main pool with ocean view and fabulous sunset.the hotel manager Marios is a gem so nice and helpful. all the staff, restaurant,pool bar ,cleaners and gardeners are so cheerful and welcoming. rooms are spotless,beds comfy,sunbeds glorious. the town has plenty to offer but our favourite eating place was Anixi restaurant and bar.great food and drink at very reasonable prices.Thank you Elini,Korina,George and Barbara for looking after us. WE WILL RETURN.

Exceptional hotel, we had an extremely relaxing stay. The room was a good size, and kept spotlessly clean. We had a view over the second pool and the sea, which was perfect. The breakfast was good, with a small menu of eggs which are cooked to order and a large selection of other cooked breakfast items, and continental choices. Highly recommend the Greek yoghurt and the eggs cooked with tomatoes and feta. The pools were clean and a good temperature, with very comfy loungers and shady spots, which were needed when temperatures were high. The pool bar was good, if not a little on the pricey side. Easy walking distance to many restaurants and bars, one of our favourites (Edem) being only a few minutes away. There was a small fridge in the room which was replenished with water daily. We didn’t mind the sink in the room at all. We also loved being able to go down to the coast and sit down by the sea. Overall it really was lovely, the staff very friendly but not overbearing. Very much recommended for a chilled break.

Just returned from a week at the Vasia Sea Retreat in Sissi. Although a few things weren't that great, we still enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as a quiet, well-kept hotel on the edge of the Sissi area. On arrival, we were greeted with a glass of fizz before being taken to our "Premium Inland" room, booked via our UK travel agent - this room type was not an option on the hotel website (only Premium or Inland), so we weren't sure what we would get. It was a first-floor Inland view room overlooking an old shack / junk pile with a partial sea view. It was not the "Premium" style as per the website pics, but it had been renovated. The bed and air con were great. There was a small fridge, ceiling fan, large TV, coffee machine, safe and a hairdryer. Bathroom sink and mirror in the bedroom (we didn't like this). Also, there are only 10 hangers. Rooms cleaned daily and given plenty of water bottles. Room towels were replaced every other day. Pool towels were also provided. Three nice pools - two for lounging and one for swimming. Pool beds were great, but by 8am, at least half were "reserved", and many remained so until the afternoon or occasionally all day (with nobody coming to use them at all) which was selfish and awful for those who couldn't find one for a few hours in the morning. Wished the hotel had a stronger policy on preventing this. Breakfast was a basic continental selection, same every day. Anything that was supposed to be hot was lukewarm at best, usually cold. The better items were the Greek yoghurt, honey, fruit, and bread. Evening meals were a la carte, and dishes were well prepared. They also have daily specials, which are worth considering. Drinks at dinner, even bottled water or soft drinks, are not included in the half-board package and were pricey. The pool bar was over-priced, so we only used this a couple of times. Despite the issues, the staff were exceptional. The housekeeping team were friendly and respectful, and the restaurant staff were warm and welcoming to everyone. So... unless you have an issue with leaving the resort (nothing is too far in Sissi), then I would recommend eating elsewhere. If you can, book a Premium room (or better) unless you are fine with what could be a disappointing view. Being on the edge of Sissi meant it was quiet at night - but shops, car rental and tour agencies, bars, and restaurants are all a short distance away.
