Hotel Alfieri

This hotel is a pretty little gem of a small and friendly hotel. This is very much due to the fantastic staff and the boutique feel of the hotel. Every single one of the staff are lovely and help you so much. The breakfast buffet is amazing, sooooo much food. The small roof pool is lovely and relaxed. Rooms are small but modern and clean. I came with my 5 friends and when one of them lost her phone, the reception staff were sooooo helpful. Thank you so much for such a great stay. And well done.

Recently stayed here for a short 5 day holiday. The Alferia is a beautiful hotel spotlessly clean and quiet. The staff all speak English and all so friendly. The bar man makes the perfect Pink gin and Lemonade plus any cocktail on his menu. Our room was on the second floor with lift access this was no problem. The room itself was clean and had massive windows with views over to Lake Garda in the distance. A small fridge in each room is a brilliant bonus to keep the beers and Lemoncello cool which we bought from a local Coop. Only negative thing about the room was the rock hard mattress. Breakfast was brilliant every day. Fresh breads and rolls , cheeses. Hams and meats. Fresh fruits to cakes and even a chocolate pump to add to your cake. Big coffee espresso machine. All this and more included. Brilliant start to the day. On the roof is a good sized swimming pool with plenty of sun beds and seating areas. Also a small bar area. The view from here is spectacular with lake and mountain vista. Parking is free around this hotel and only a few minutes walk to loads of local bars and restaurants. Also the walk to the lake is only about 3 minutes away. We ate in a different restaurant each night. The bendy shuttle bus stop is only a few minutes walk away too this takes you into the old town. Just pay on the bus its only 50p more. We hired a car from Bergamo airport and the satnav took us straight to the hotel about 50 mins. Let me end by saying I would highly recommend this hotel for all the above plus more. Enjoy your stay.

I booked this trip for my partners 40th birthday as a suprise. I contacted the reception team to book a birthday package and they could not have been more helpful. Marta and the reception team were so friendly, accomodating and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast was absolutely brilliant, the staff were very friendly and attentive and a great selection of savoury and sweet options. The pool is lovely and well looked after, the bar staff were friendly and looked after us too. The hotel location is perfect, a 3-4 minute walk to the lake and a 3-4 minute walk to restaurants, bars and shops. We have had the best time and would reccomend to anyone, thank you again 5*!

Could not fault - would love to go back. The hotel was easy to find and we had hired a car so were able to park on the street outside or underneath - we went underneath for extra security. However, the area is very safe and the hotel itself was fantastic - from the pool / pool bar on the roof (with view of lake) to the staff, everything was brilliant. The hotel is around an hour's drive from Bergamo airport and not far off Autostrada when turning off. The reception are with bar and lounging areas were great, breakfast was the best and advice on area, trips, timings etc was first class - the young man in the pool bar even found somewhere for me to watch the football. There is so much that you can do in this area and there are also some nice restaurants such as La Foresta but, there are buses into centre of Sirmione (we choose to walk mostly) and you can also hire bikes from here;- this we did on our last day and rode up to Garda and took the ferry back. All brilliant. Loved it!!!

Just back from a 4 night stay at this hotel. Had an absolutely fantastic stay. The hotel is lovely and clean, staff very welcoming, exceptionally helpful, nothing too much trouble, especially the ladies on reception. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Lovely tea bar & the water was always boiling. Nice comfortable bed, good sleep. Always plenty of hot water for showers. Only thing missing for me was a tea making facility in the room. I enjoy a cuppa before bed. All in all a great stay and would definitely return. Thank you so much.
