Hotel Gardenia Sirmione

I love the location of this hotel. There are many restaurants close by and in walking distance. The room isnt new but given the price, it has great value. The lady in front desk is really nice

Took a family suite. Good value, comfortable beds, great breakfast, convenient location but 30min walk or shorter bus ride to the castle. Bus or taxi to main train station. Off street car parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Provided hot water for tea though we later found a coffee machine in a cupboard.

The hotel was spotless. The rooms, the pool area and the restaurant area. You could tell that everyone who was involved with this hotel took pride in its appearance and also to make sure that guests were happy. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly all of the time and the service was excellent. The breakfast was of a good quality and choice and the hotel did snacks by the pool when you ordered a drink and some meals during the day. The rooms were a decent size and the little balcony was a bonus. It was a very good base from which to explore the area. There were plenty of local restaurants to go to (including a great steak restaurant two doors down (to the right if you have your back to the hotel) and a local co-op (COOP) but also the shuttle bus (stop 10) took you into Sirmione in no time for a price of 2 euros and was on a constant loop all day and well into the evening. Everything was really great and there were no negative points at all from all 5 of us guests. The maps available at reception were a great help in finding your way around and we walked to a little beach from the hotel and others were available from both sides of the lake. You could also have got a bus from just down the road to Verona which only took about half an hour.

We enjoyed everything: location, which was close to historic sightseeing; room size; convenient beds; spacious balcony with garden and Garda lake view; great breakfast with variety of dishes; very nice yard with a pool. Stuff was really friendly and nice. Across the road - bike rent. Enough space for a big car on parking. Strongly recommend! We hope to come back in the nearest future.

Good location, just a short drive to Sirmione. There is free parking at the hotel, so this was great. If you drive to Sirmione, there are parking lots just outside the historic center. The breakfast was very good. We arrived around 9pm and the hotel was full and even though our room was prepaid they gave it to someone else. So, we were accommodated in another room, much bigger, two bedrooms, but very simple, not as comfortable as the one I booked. I didn’t think this was right, but as it was just for one night it was okay. Very simple hotel.
