No one was at the reception counter even though I arrived before 7 pm. No access to the front door of the building nor the door to the premises.
No one at the reception when I checked out at 9 am.

The location is totally awesome!
Even though it is a BbB, it is not inferior to other hotels.
Breakfast is also perfect, although you have to move to a partner hotel for a while.
The owners are also very bright and cheerful.
They respond quickly to questions.
When it gets late in the evening, there is plenty of free parking space.

Excellent location and a clean and renovated apartment.
2 big downsides:
70 stairs walk up to an apartment on 4th floor with laguage !!!
WiFi access is very very slow at time up to the point that is not accessible.

3 nights in Siracusa
the hotel is newly renovated, and in a good location within walking distance to both the bus and train station and to Ortigia and even the historical ancient Greek theater. the only downside is there is no lift, you need to carry the luggage up by stairs. the staff Damina is very friendly and helpful, even help us to carry a luggage up.
