Donna Coraly Country Boutique Hotel

This is a beautiful property with 2 lovely pools and spacious suites with private gardens and patios in the countryside strategically located between Siracusa and Noto. Inclusive breakfast and parking area were both very good. Enjoyed using this as a base for day trips in the area starting or ending the day with some time in the relaxing grounds

In our 5 weeks in Italy this was by far our favourite hotel. Our only regret is we didn’t stay here longer. Accessible to Noto and Syracuse. Amazing service. Beautiful food for dinner if you choose to stay in the hotel. The most beautiful breakfast setting you could ever imagine. The General Manager is very personable and has amazing recommendations. Our Sommelier and waiter at dinner made our night perfect. Room was exceptional, very clean with our own courtyard.

Absolutely spectacular stay. The resort itself is beautiful. The rooms are lovely and well appointed each with its own outdoor space. The breakfast room, waitress, and selection are lovely . The restaurant for dinner was excellent. The staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. They check in on you frequently, but not in an intrusive way. I highly recommend this resort. The Michelin store is well deserved and earned. Highly recommend.

Our 2 night stay at Donna Coraly was pure bliss! A lovely boutique hotel in a rural setting, but close to Siracusa. The love for the property showed in every detail of the manicured gardens, the lovely fresh rooms, flowers at breakfast and the overall attention to detail. Every single member of staff and the owner went out of their way to make our stay wonderful and they very much succeeded. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all were so tasty. The rooms provide for a good a quiet night sleep with Ortigia products awaiting in the bathroom to start your day in the best way. A big thanks to all; we will for sure be back.

There are plusses and minuses for every resort I have been too and this too has some good and some not so good. The good. Our breakfast server was amazing. The grounds are stunning and very quiet and bucolic. The only noise you hear is the beautiful bird sounds in the mornings. The resort has two heated pools, which unfortunately never found the time to swim in. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Our unit had a bedroom and a sitting room with a good sized bathroom attached to the bedroom and a much smaller bath in the sitting room. We had two outdoor seating areas to choose from. The food at the resort is artistically prepared and delicious. On the negative side on the food, my girlfriends main dish of veal was delicious but barely two ounces for a main course. She had to eat more food in the room to feel full. Breakfast is said to be included and they have a nice buffet, BUT they also have a pay menu for some other items not at the buffet. If you want an Omelet for example it is 12 Euros. When I complaiined I was later informed I can get scrambled for free. How crazy is that. All breakfast items should be included for a resort that charges over 300 Euros per night especially when they say breakfast is included. The staff is friendly and helpful though the greeter on our fist day did not understand that the sitting area extra room came with the room and ran back to clarify that it was. We ate out after the first night since while it is a fine dining (Michelin Star), we did not need fine dining every night. They could also invest in large tissue boxes. I also recommend they have a book or pamphlet about the history of the resort in the rooms since it is such an amazing historical resort. When we told them where we were going to eat one night they tried to tell us it is "Not on their List", but they buy fish from that restaurant. We loved that restaurant by the way. All and all if you want a private resort with great service, you should consider it and it is within 20 minutes of the major attractions.
