Very quaint hotel! It has a past grandeur charm with its impressive lobby and garden around it. The building itself is an old palazzo with a newly build wing. The rooms are clean, practical and very comfortable beds. The breakfast is plentyful. If you don’t want to venture out for dinner to nearby Ortigia the hotel restaurant offers beautiful Sicilian food. The staff are friendly and attentive. This is my second time I stayed here and it’s the ideal base to explore Syracusa and surrounding areas.

A lovely but very understaffed hotel! When we arrived we rang at the gate to be let in for about 5 minutes with no answer, in the end we had to phone the hotel (from a U.K. mobile!!) to be let in. The receptionist then didn’t give us any details of where things were, breakfast time etc which we had to go back and ask for later. I think all this was because he was too busy as he was on his own on reception and it seemed there was only one other waiter/bartender who had to look after both as well as the pool area! That said, the hotel is lovely, wonderfully clean and the pool and garden area are simply beautiful. Also, although busy, the staff were very friendly.

Had a wonderful week at the hotel. Very relaxed tranquil atmosphere. Beautiful pool. Whole place well maintained. All staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Great bar service from Andrea and his colleagues. Nice breakfast provided. Enjoyed the restaurant on site. Rooms cleaned to a high standard daily. Efficient taxi service into Syracuse and Ortigia. Good to have a car to explore beautiful beaches and towns nearby. Few bakeries, pizza places and supermarket within walking distance. Overall the hotel made our trip.

Highly recommended hotel! One of the best I found so far. Went with our baby and the stuff was very helpful and caring. Room was very comfortable and spacious. No noises in the background Plenty of room to move around in yhe lobby. The pool was always clean and available with no chaos. Perfect for a family holiday and especially for those who have a baby. The stuff was always super friendy. The receptionists were very welcoming. Two ladies that used to be in the restaurant for breakfast were so lovely and always spoke to us and played with our son. Eli and Aalisha made our mornings always pleasant, a 5 star for their service. Food delicious and always fresh. Easy parking and safe An hour drive away from Centro Sicilia amd Etnaland and an hour and a half to Toarmina. Will definitely stay there again.

We spent one night here on our small-group tour of southern Italy. The grounds are beautiful -- a true park-like setting, which helps make this a quiet location in which to stay. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean, but there was not much space for toiletries in the bathroom. Included breakfast buffet was not as extensive as those at some of the other hotels we stayed in, but quite adequate. There was a good artisan pizzeria within walking distance for dinner.

Very good hotel, with very nice grounds and pool. Had a large, comfortable room, only issue is that our room did not have a regular shower, had to sit down in the jacuzzi. Breakfast was OK. Saw a lot of Italian tourists that stayed most of the day in the pool. Not that great location for those that want to look at the sights in Ortigia and nearby. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is not in the centre, but if you have a car it's really worth it. Nice garden with a pool (that we could not use because of the weather, but great view from our room). The lady with long curly hair at reception was very helpful and let us choose our room.
