Descanso En Paraiso Resort

Les chambres sont un peu vieilles mais très spacieuses. Le personnel est au petit soin. Attention il n'y a pas de plage pour se baigner, c'est une très belle vue mais ce n'est pas pour se poser à la plage

This is the best resort that makes you fall in love with Siquijor. I think it was enough compensation for the ferry ride that took almost 3 hours. First of all, the accommodation consists of 5~6 private villas on two floors. Each floor has a queen-sized bed, so up to 4 people can stay. The furniture in the rooms and the bathroom are well-prepared in many ways. One thing that is disappointing is that there is no hair dryer. The biggest advantage of this place is probably the restaurant with the best view. The breakfast and the regular meal menu were all delicious, and the price was reasonable. Above all, all the staff were really friendly. Despite my limited English skills, they understood me and welcomed me, so I didn't feel burdened at all. One tip: they don't accept cards or dollars, and only accept pesos. I was really embarrassed because they said the nearest currency exchange office was near the port (500 pesos one way by tuk-tuk). The owner happened to have something to do in the city, so I was able to solve the problem thanks to them exchanging money for me. Thank you for everyone!

Budget friendly and good for solo bagpackers. Nearby to convenience stores and many food stalls nearby.

This place had a very nice vibe! The staff was so polite and excellent. I saw many returning guests that had traveled to other islands and always came back to stay there. It was very close to one of the best waterfalls on the island. A 10 minute walk or you could rent a scooter and drive for 3 minutes. There was also many restaurants nearby but the staff also cooked breakfast. I would definitely return!!

Stayed at the Villa (5 nights) with a friend! A very nice and quiet place, if you have adequate neighbors (before leaving, a group of noisy Chinese checked in, who were swimming in the pool at 2 am and laughing loudly) 🤦🏻♀️, so much so that we even had to go out and ask them to calm down!!! We even wrote a note to the admin, and in the morning we received an apology and an offer of compensation for the ”night rendezvous”! Overall, everything was great: attentive and responsive staff, beautiful and well-kept territory, the only downside is the restaurant menu (many items were missing, but the cooks 🧑🍳 met us halfway every time and this is a big plus ➕) Every morning, fresh and delicious pastries were brought to the guests' room!

A very nice place to stay at! Super friendly and helpful owner and staff. Great menu with a wide variety and very tasty food. A bit remote as it is the most southern resort on Siquijor, and not all tricycle drivers want to drive there, but we still managed and we enjoyed every minute of our 10 day stay. If the resort had had a soft sandy beach, it would have been perfect, but the snorkelling and the beautiful pool made up for it 100%. Wow! A great experience overall!
