Do not stay here! They have shady business practices. Charged me for a room that I did not even book. I immediately called and told them BEFORE the stay that I did not book this room and would not be staying there. So please cancel. I was given the run around and multiple phone calls, got my bank involved to file a dispute and they still refuse to refund the money. This was October and I am still fighting with them. They charged me $104 (which I never would have paid for this run down hotel anyway) for a hotel that I did not stay in and are now saying I was a ”no show”. No records of my phone calls. Read the reviews and nobody in their right mind would stay at this run down place at that price so I guess they have resorted to shady business practices to get reservations.
Stoney Creek Hotel Sioux City

We loved our stay. We were nervous because previous reviews said the furniture and carpets needed replacement. Not true! The ambiance they are going for is a rustic cabin or fishing lodge. As far as I could tell, just one chair in each room is „distressed“ meaning the chair was new but had been beat up to make it look old. The breakfast was very good. I‘ve never seen croissants at a hotel breakfast before. We especially appreciated that the rooms were truly clean-no stray hairs or flecks of junk to try to ignore. I thought the beds were perfect while my husband said they were a little too firm.

stayed overnight on a road trip. Easy access off the highway, VERY clean and comfortable bed. Desk staff was very friendly and helpful in suggestions for dinner. When we first went down for breakfast, the room was packed with a bus tour, so we waited a bit and went back... the food selection was more than adequate with waffles, cereal, toast, eggs, meat selections, fruit, yogurt and juices.... plenty of protein selections and not all carbs!!!!! I would not hesitate to stay here again when in the area. One note though, the pool is not in operation, desk staff said that it is most likely permanently closed.
Days Inn by Wyndham Sioux City

Hotel was clean, check in was friendly and painless. Bed and pillows were not comfortable. Pillows gave me a headache actually. When we got into the room it must have been 90 degrees in there, we opened the window hoping the 27 degree outside would help with the jungle temperature. Breakfast will get you fed but it was little debbie oatmeal cream pies and powdered donuts and then some slices of white bread in a display case. Also, the hotel is right next to the train tracks so there's that.

The hotel is more humane, the service staff is more nice, very good experience, there are supermarkets around, there is a Chinese restaurant, panda fast food, you can try!

If I could have given this negative stars I would have! This was the filthiest place I have EVER stayed! If it wasn't for the fact that we had brought all of our stuff in, and I wasn't feeling well, we would have left! There was soap scum and hair in the bath tub, ant/roach motels laying around, scum running down the bathroom door; one of the lights needed repair/replacement; there wasn't a bulb in one of the lights; the smoke detector was covered; refrigerator was missing the freezer container; microwave just needed to be replaced, it was FILTHY, and had rust running down the inside; the air freshener was an empty Glade Automatic Air freshener that was held onto the wall by zip ties, and since there wasn't a can inside, the gears just grinded from time to time; doors and cabinets were in terrible shape; the walls are so thin, that I heard an entire conversation next door at 2am when 4 drunks got back from partying! This establishment allows dogs, that you can hear barking throughout the hotel, in your room! And to top it off the ceiling is sinking!! You can actually see where they have been patching around a load bearing beam! We ended up sleeping in our clothes, on top of the blankets because we weren't positive the sheets were clean! And as far as breakfast? We grabbed McDonald's!
