For a last minute booking the price of 34 € sounded good.
Check-in method was supposed to be by PIN but on arrival there was a locked gate. I had to ring a bell and then call the owner while his wife opened the door.
Maybe a way to know who is arriving and after check-out I also could not locate any PIN access.
She just showed the PIN to the house key safe.
The room window door did not move well or close properly and no trash bin in the room.
Lights were old bulbs that made the room too bright.
Bathroom was across the hallway.
The guesthouse is in a remote area between factories and secretive villas in a village between Lisbon and Sintra. You need to take the Sintra train and then a local bus and a twenty minute walk there.

DO NOT STAY HERE PLEASE. OWNER WRITES FAKES REVIEWS!
You will feel extremely unsafe. The rooms feel like they haven't been cleaned in forever. Lighting is extremely poor. Smells bad. And the owner writes fake reviews about the property!!
All of the 5-star reviews on Google Maps are from the same person, go and check for yourself. I stayed here because of a last minute emergency, but I would've preferred to spend the night at an airport or anywhere else.

Perfect place, very close to Sintra center and Cascais Center. Quiet neighborhood. Easy check in and check out. We loved the place were evrything was cleaned and user friendly. We feel like home and despite away from home. Surelly we will come again.
