This is our second time staying at the Monastery. The first time was in the summer in 2017 when we hosted a birthday gathering with friends. We really liked the space (enough ensuite bedrooms to house our 30 friends!) and the chapel was the perfect place for the dinner. We did the Vespa tour in Borgloon and it was so much fun. After more than 5 years we returned to the Monastery for another gathering of friends and we were happy to see the place was not worse for wear, in fact the decor had changed and now it has a cozier and pleasant feel with the country style furniture and personal touches in each of the rooms. You can see that the management made a lot of improvements. We will definitely host another gathering here when the weather is better!

Mooi en groot pand, maar totaal afgedankt. Werkelijk alles in het huis was oud, vies en goor. Alles onder het stof, en gewoon niet goed schoongemaakt: vooral de badkamers waren ontzettend smerig. Tuin is groot maar ongezellig en niet goed bijgehouden. Interieur heeft allemaal zijn langste tijd gehad: alles kapot of doorgezakt. Alleen de bedden zijn vrij aardig, maar wel erg zacht. We zijn eerder naar huis gegaan omdat het zo'n vieze zooi was, en het voor familieleden met allergieën niet was uit te houden. En de helft van de lampen deden het niet. Belachelijk dat dit nog verhuurd mag worden
