Food was good but hotel service was very bad. Price was not according to reservation and staff sad they couldnt help they said because was the collegeus who did it, staff was not friendly at all and didnt care. Nice terras near the Leie but not available to hotel guests.

Staff were helpful and friendly. The room we had in the old building was comfortable with a view over the canal. Breakfast was fresh and inviting we would stay again as it was very reasonable priced

A must stay boutique Hotel.
Great location and enjoyed the lodge setting accommodation. Convenient location to explore Ghent with only a 20 drive to the city centre. Excellent free on site parking. Decided to book a second night as first night was brilliant. In a different room from previou7s night7 and the decor was tastefully done throughout. Super inviting and super comfy. Restaurant in the main hotel is a hidden gem, lots of locals, amazing attentive service and fabulous food. The only one issue was the quality of the towels they seem very tired and worn, thin terrible. Maybe also another blind in recess of window for absolute no light seepage. We also did not have breakfast as was an extra cost which seemed a bit high.

Luxury boutique hotel a must stay near Ghent.
Great location and enjoyed the lodge setting accommodation. Convenient location to explore Ghent with only a 20 drive to the city centre. Beautiful surroundings. Easy parking. Spacious room with gorgeous view of the river Leie. 20minutes drive from Gent.
Only mishaps, there is a coffee machine in the room with cream provided and one of the cream was very expired.

Perfect stay - room well appointed with lovely riverside view. Accommodating and friendly staff with excellent brasserie onsite and beautiful surroundings. We look forward to returning. Highly recommended.

I expected more - the hotel is in stunning surroundings and is beautiful from the outside. The hotel is divided by a very busy main road - you need to take care when crossing due to the fast moving vehicles. The car park is large, but very busy. The bedroom was ok, nothing more. The beds themselves were very comfortable. The bathroom is nice, but is let down by a very small shower that has not aged well (the white grout between the tiles has become discoloured). The toilet is directly opposite the shower and was in quite a claustrophobic space.

I invited a group of nearly 15 people to stay in the hotel. We had to leave early because we had a meeting in Gent starting early. Unfortunately my room didnt have hot water so had to start with a cold shower (4 star hotel?). When I called the reception they only said that they would call a technician… too little too late, had to leave. At least they could have offered me a shower somewhere else. My guests in the main building also didnt have hot water, even not the evening before. We didnt get any apologies. Next year we will organize our overnight stay somewhere else.
