Hotels near Keong Saik Rd. in Singapore

I have never stayed in such a small room for the price across the 10 countries I have visited. This room consists of a mattress on the floor in about a 6ft x 6ft space. It has a kettle/jug with a cup and 1 tea bag supplied, I hate tea so was not impressed that they didn't even have a simple coffee sachet included, especially for the price of the room. I don't know how the bathroom passed building regulations when you cannot sit on the toilet due to it being turned sideways and 6 inches from the wall, prepare to ride side-saddle if you want to use it. I am only a slim person, so if you are not a slim person you will have great difficulty in using the toilet or even having a shower. I tried to take photos of the bathroom but it is just so small I had trouble doing that. They have escalators that do not work, so be prepared to carry your luggage up stairs. They need to invest in a vacuum cleaner and a broom because you can see the floors throughout the hotel are not vacuumed and the entry foyer is not swept. It really looks like the owners don't care anymore, and are just maximizing their profits from tourists That is the impression I got, especially when there was a family demanding a refund and not happy with the hotel. If it wasn't for the above issues, this place would have got a better rating from me, but a hotel that is diminishing with no money being spent on it will always turn into something people do not rate well. I would never stay again simply due to the bathroom being so small with a toilet you have to sit sideways on to use, and escalators that do not function forcing one to have to climb the escalator stair with their luggage.

It was an amazing three days in Singapore, and many thanks to the staff of this cozy hotel who provided us with the best room. It was our favorite roof with a stunning view of the city. Being in the city center, we did not hear the noise of the city. Very clean around, no one bothers and very close to the metro, for those who came to get acquainted with the city - this is the perfect place!

The room is well designed interesting use of mirrors to make it feel more spacious and Green onyx shower Space is very cool. Coffee and tea available in the room and bathrobes nice toiletries . Staff good selection and lovely staff may be a little overpriced . Central located was always able to get a Grab, not far from the Maxwel MRT The rooftop pool area is very nice and relaxing, would be handy to have a shower room available After using the pool or checking out

Location is convenient with tons of good food and drinks nearby. The pod is not soundproof so got to keep quiet at all times so as not to disturb other travellers. There’s Netflix in the pod so it is a time to chill. Remember to bring your headphones as the TV does not comes with speaker.

The location of the hotel is wonderful, very close to MRT (Maxwell MRT), the food center (Maxwell food center - where there are lots of good food) & Buddha Tooth Relic Temple (where I can go praying early in the morning). Facilities very new and clean. Very comfy bed & kitchen has microwave to reheat the food I bought

Dear M Hotel, I would like to express my feeling of satisfaction/gratitude toward Miss Jia Yi and the manager in resolving the issue I had over the stay quickly. My relative who works in F&B recommended the hotel for our stay in Singapore which we decided to follow through for 4days 3 nights. But perhaps due to a misunderstanding/misinformation during the checking in, we were not informed much about how to use room’s facilities e.g., a room make-up function, a policy regarding bed sheet and towels + the TV remote control was out of battery. I didn’t realize up until my parents informed me about it. I was upset and went to express my dissatisfaction to the reception while Miss Jia Yi was on her shift. She handled my complaint professionally, quickly noted down the issues and asked the maids to make up our rooms everyday onward. Without the explanation, the room-make up function is a little hard to use (I previously assumed the maid would come in normally). Anyway, I want to compliment the staff for their professionalism, not just in resolving our in-room situation but also for handing my negative emotion perfectly. With that being said, our stay at M Hotel was overall good and we wouldn’t mind coming back again. The location is perfect near the China town, MBS and not too far from Orchard Road. The overall service of the hotel was excellent. They welcome us with complimentary chocolates when we told them we were there to have an early birthday celebration for my wife. They sent their staff to help us when we could not connect our mobile phone to the TV. Not forgetting the excellent views from infinity swimming pool and room. They made the stay pleasant for us. However, they could improve on telling guests how to get to the Skypark. The staff of the club were not too friendly when we lost our way and asked for directions.

First, the noise from the air conditioner in each bed was too loud, so if you need complete silent to sleep this will be a big issue. Also the ladder's installed on the wall beside instead of in front of my bed, and I walked a lot when visiting Singapore so my legs were sore at the end of the day and climbing up to the top bunk was hard for me, I almost fell down a few times. Despite those inconveniences, I would still recommend this place if you want to travel on a budget. They offer complimentary breakfast, plus their bathrooms are clean and the service staffs are very nice.

Overall the hotel stay wasn't bad. The Room was big, the bed was nice. The facilities was good and I enjoyed having drinks at ”The Den” and the breakfast was not bad.. My only gripe was that the room wasn't ready when I arrived at the hotel at 3.30pm( check in time was 3pm) and they wasn't able to advise when the room would be ready and was suggesting we go to ”The Den” which is like a cafe and wait for the room. eventually after raising my displeasure of not the room not being ready even though we got there already later than the check in time, we got the room probably around 3.40 or so and I thought that will be end but imagine my surprise when I went inside the room and found the room to be all wet which really make the starting of the stay not exactly very pleasant. for the price that I paid which was above $400, I actually would have expected better preparation. I have booked quite a few hotels in SG before to have staycation and this is the first time which I had such an experience. This is such a contrast with the experience that I had when I booked Capri by Fraser at Changi City point which everything went alot more nicer but other than the starting part of the room preparation, the rest went well but the starting part did make put a damper on the stay.

Good hotel but room will be a bit smaller than you think. They only give body towels (no facial or hand towel) and do not have “do not disturb” sign
