The room was clean, with housekeeping provided daily. The hotel is in a great location, making it convenient to get around. However, the room is small, suitable for a 1-2 pax. I think the walls are quite thin, so you can hear noise from outside. Anyway, I’m happy to be here.

Location is good, very close to Chinatown and other main attractions, we almost walk to everywhere. The room is clean and spacious but the bathroom smells funny, ventilation is not so great. If I must complaint something I would say there's no plug near the bathroom sink for using the hair dryer (or at least I cannot find one in our room), also to use the hair dryer will require constantly pressing the button, which is very annoying.

Celebrated our daughter’s sweet 16th birthday recently at Dorsett SG on 02-Jun! Excellent location, just directly above the Outram MRT, and walking distance to all amenities and delicious food. Thank you to the hotel colleague whom arranged for a later check out request for us ❤️Two comments for improvement: some of the areas around the room needs some minor renovations or touch up, and breakfast could have a wider spread and quality. Hope to be back soon.

Overall an amazing stay 10/10 vibes. Loved the bathtub and the huge toilet.
The only inconvenience I had was with the lights where the master lights/ lights on top of the bed had to be on for the toilet lights to be on. This meant that if one person needs the toilet in the middle of the night… the person sleeping in the bed will have to deal with lights on oops.

Gorgeous hotel. The urban garden on the 16th floor is beautiful, the pool is breathtaking and the breakfast is really good - the best pain au chocolat I’ve had in years. They have bicycles available to the guests, but I would not suggest using them. It turns out that Singapore is not a very bike-friendly city and we ended up having to pay for damage to the bike we borrowed (not handled very well by the staff, with a late-night phone call to tell us we owed the bottle money).

Absolutely — here’s your refined short review that still references the hotel’s SDG alignment (specifically SDG 12) but removes SDG 2 and 3, as per your request. The tone remains honest, clear, and balanced, with a better reflection of your actual experience and expectations:

Hotel Review: Hotel Oasis Downtown – Clean & Sustainable, But With Gaps
I stayed at Hotel Oasis Downtown, which promotes sustainability and aligns with SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). The room was clean and quiet, which I appreciated, but I was given a corner room near the lift — not ideal. The room felt smaller and had only a partial view, different from the photos. Still, it was peaceful, and I had a good night’s sleep.
Bathroom amenities were basic, and no bidet was provided. For a hotel in this category, I expected a bit more comfort.
Breakfast looked nice, but not suitable for vegetarians. I asked if any options were available, but no follow-up, so I skipped it. Might be fine for non-vegetarians with Western preferences.
There’s a coffee machine at the 12th-floor reception, which is convenient, but the flavor was quite mild — not recommended for serious coffee lovers.
The hotel has a nice concept, but I hope they improve communication about room assignments and breakfast inclusivity. If Club Rooms offer different or better options, that should be made clearer.

The location was pretty good, there were nice bars/clubs and affordable food like Maxwell FC. A few minutes walk to Maxwell metro and probably 10 minute walk to Outram metro. The room was decent with ample space to put luggage, and it was nice to have a cushion area to sit around, too. The toilet was too small, with little to no space to move when opening the door to the shower area. There’s no bidet nor heated seats in the toilet bowl. Shower pressure and instant heat were pretty good. The soundproof for the room is decent, and the heavy room door slamming and walking sounds from the rooms above can be heard. The swimming pool is pretty small, probably good for taking photos of the overview of Maxwell and not good as a lap pool with short height and length. The room service was quick to answer my requests, unfortunately, there's no laundromat, but there are laundry services. All in all, for its location and price point, its still quite a good hotel to stay in.

Just arrived at the hotel, due to a payment issue, the taxi driver delayed letting me out of the car. Then, a dark skin slim bellboy immediately opened my car door, took out my luggage, and very rudely urged me to get out quickly because he needed to let another couple board—claiming they were in a hurry to catch their flight.
At that time, my handbag was open, and my wallet was exposed because I was keep trying different card plus the card machine wasn’t working, and the driver was restarting it. I felt extremely unsafe—what if someone had suddenly gotten in and snatched my things? I was really furious.
That male staff didn’t even apologize to me. The couple’s time crunch had nothing to do with me—why couldn’t they have arranged an earlier time or another taxi? about he didn’t respect me and chase me.
This is the most I damn angry.
And, another thing is I need to request up to two times to FO/Housekeeping to change the battery or another weight scale for me.
Breakfast was good and clean table.

Loved our stay at The Clan Hotel! It’s conveniently located right next to Telok Ayer train station with lots of cafes and food options in the area. The room was spacious and beautifully designed in a modern heritage style. We were welcomed with a complimentary tea ceremony and lots of in-room refreshments as well. The only underwhelming part of the experience was the hotel breakfast - the spread was rather small and food tasted mediocre. The pool and gym also have limited capacity but the pool is open till 12 midnight and the gym is 24/7 so that makes up for it!

JJinhaishiyangdayanThe room was very quiet, the bed was comfortable, the hygiene was very good, and the front desk was very nice. The coffee machine at the front desk was also great. The only bug was that there was no water in the room, so you had to go downstairs to get water at the front desk. I was a little tired after a day of citywalk and didn't want to go downstairs again. But there was sparkling water, hot and cold water options, which was not bad. Overall great 👍 Recommended 👍

LLet’s Go Solo!Great location and rooms and beds really comfortable. I had the room with a bathroom…shower is really tiny but manageable. Room was really great. Bed comfortable and TV that connected to YouTube. Only downside I could hear whenever someone used the bathroom in the room next to me - the running water from toilet. Otherwise for a short stay would definitely recommend due to location and easy of check in and check out.

GGuest UserI had a good 3days stay at the Bohemian, I was in the female dorm and it was quiet and clean throughout my stay, the AC also worked well, which is a needed feature in Singapore
The hostel was generally okay and the location great. The only thing missing is having a microwave, I had to go to their sister hostel to use the microwave there when I needed to warm my food

VVero&Alex travelersThe location is very convenient, many places for food and close to the station. The space is quite cleaned and the bed is very comfortable. If you don’t mind sharing bathroom it is good. The breakfast was also nice, possibility of cooking your own eggs. I’m not sure if when is many people it would be same experience as there are not many toilet and the breakfast space is not as big, only one hob. For us it was perfect.

CChee Yu YanBoutique hotel located centrally with unique interior design. Enjoyed the tapas style food prepared by their Chef during cocktail hour. Service at sister hotel- Maxwell Reserve's cafe, was lacklustre (staff was inattentive and not prompt). However, we really appreciated the service from a few staff over at Duxton Reserve. In particular Joel and his Indian teammate. They were friendly and attentive to details (e.g. remembering names and preference of drinks). Their service exemplified the qualities of hospitality truly. If you are looking for a place with a unique design, peace and quiet, and don't mind the lack of facilities (e.g. pool/gym), give this a shot. Otherwise, you are better off trying other places
