To sum it up, I initially saw many negative reviews about the service and the hotel itself, and had some unpleasant communication experiences with Ctrip and the hotel before my stay, so I didn't have high hopes. However, aside from the insanely high summer premium, everything else was absolutely fantastic! 1️⃣ We arrived in Singapore in the early hours and got to the hotel around 8 AM. When the front desk learned I was traveling with my child for their birthday, they immediately checked us in and even upgraded us to a sea-view room – huge props to them! 2️⃣ Since I was traveling with three kids, I asked the hotel about an extra bed. The customer service department provided a free extra bed and even an infant cot, haha, though I'm not sure if it was mistakenly added to our room. The bedding was comfortable and the hygiene was excellent – thumbs up! 3️⃣ The recreational facilities were quite good, with ping-pong, billiards, and pool slides that the kids loved. They were so happy staying at the hotel they didn't even want to go out. 4️⃣ The breakfast wasn't very extensive, which could definitely be improved.

This hotel is a renowned family-friendly resort, perfect for kids with endless activities – a children's pool with slides, a water park, a sand pit, a kids' club, and even a private beach with seaside movies. Little ones will be entertained from morning till night. The hotel is exceptionally child-friendly, offering welcome packs and kids' bathrobes upon check-in, and the staff are very enthusiastic with the youngsters. The location is convenient, close to Universal Studios and S.E.A. Aquarium. However, the hygiene aspect is a definite concern. We found dead insects outside our room, and this isn't an isolated incident – many guests have reported similar issues, such as uncleaned insect carcasses on balconies, ants in rooms, and some even being bothered by mosquitoes all night. Furthermore, given its popularity, the hotel is often noisy due to the large number of children. Service reviews are mixed; some praise the friendly staff, while others complain about slow check-in and delayed room service responses. In summary: If a fantastic entertainment experience for your children is your top priority, this place is perfect. But if you're sensitive to cleanliness, especially regarding insect issues, you might want to think twice.

The hotel's surroundings are really quiet. You can easily access Siloso Beach directly from the pool, which is super convenient. Plus, they offer free paddleboards and small boats. During our three-day stay, we spent our days exploring and then came back to enjoy the pool in the evenings. Even after visiting Adventure Cove Waterpark, we still had a long, fun time at the pool. There are lots of communal balls to play with in the pool, and even a slide for kids. I found a free MRT code on Xiaohongshu to get to the island from Vivocity. The MRT code happened to be for Shangri-La, which was really convenient. Our family of three just scanned one code to pass through. We took the MRT to Beach Station, then went down to the first floor and took Bus A for three stops, getting off at Siloso Point Station. This bus stops at every station and runs in a loop, though sometimes it might wait a bit longer at Beach Station for passengers. To get to Resorts World Station from the hotel, you also take Bus A. There's a shuttle bus to Vivocity, but we never took it because the timing never worked out for us. Honestly, the bus and MRT are pretty convenient anyway. Since the hotel is built on a hill, the front desk is on the fifth floor, and taxis drop you off directly there. We checked in on a Sunday and even got free ice cream, which tasted good. Check-in didn't take as long as some online reviews mentioned, and most of the staff spoke Chinese. My overall experience was quite good. Breakfast is on the third floor, and it's just so-so. My favorite was the Laksa noodles; the broth was rich, and you could pick whatever toppings you wanted for the noodles or vermicelli. My dad liked the Thai milk tea, and of course, my child gravitated towards all the sweet stuff. However, the tables they assigned us for all three days were quite small, which I found inconvenient. The main issue was that they weren't very proactive in clearing plates, which made it feel a bit cramped. Overall, I'd still highly recommend this hotel and would consider staying again if I have the chance.

Great for family trips with kids! The hotel is a bit old, but the location is excellent. After playing on the beach, you can also enjoy the pool, and there's a pretty large kids' club. I recommend staying in a sea-view room!

Extremely satisfied, the kids absolutely loved it! The room was fantastic too; booking almost half a year in advance really paid off and gave us great value for money. This place is excellent for families; there are so many activities, and it's very friendly for younger children, with an indoor kids' club that even has an area for under-5s. The outdoor pools, both large and small, the kids' water slides, and the splash areas were a hit with our ten-year-old. All the front desk staff I encountered were very friendly; the person I met in the morning could even communicate simply in English. The lady who gave us our room cards in the afternoon was also exceptionally kind; seeing that we were two adults with two children, she gave us a wonderful room. Many thanks! My younger daughter said she wants to go again – and she usually has so many hotels she wants to try, which really proves how good Ctrip's recommendation was. Thanks again!

The hotel is really old, and the connecting room was locked off, offering no sound insulation at all. The experience was just so-so. Housekeeping entered the room without ringing the doorbell, which was quite startling – good thing I wasn't naked... The view, however, was lovely, and the Laksa at breakfast was absolutely delicious; I can't stop thinking about it.

The hotel environment is excellent, perfect for family trips with children, and the breakfast spread is very generous. The only downsides are that the hotel facilities are a bit dated and the rooms are on the smaller side. Overall, it's still a very good stay.

True to its reputation as a seasoned five-star hotel, everything here was excellent. Highly recommend for family vacations! Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a Family Garden Room, which offered direct access to the pool from the garden – super convenient. The outdoor pool was also heated, which was a huge plus; getting in was instantly comfortable. They even provided various water balls in the pool, keeping the kids thoroughly entertained. The hotel's scenery was beautiful and clearly well-maintained, perfect for photos. We stayed for three nights and almost daily ordered room service; the food quality was consistently high, and the service was prompt and professional. The hotel breakfast was another highlight. Eating outdoors accompanied by birdsong was incredibly relaxing. The most memorable dish was the Laksa – rich broth, abundant ingredients, and very authentic. All in all, a very satisfying stay!
