Night shift staff was not friendly when I ask for additional blanket for my 84 years father . He was not feeling well and feel cold and can’t sleep , maybe due to long hours flights from Australia, So I call information/front desk/housekeeping but all no answered. I went to hotel lobby and ask for additional blanket from the Staff. The Staff was watching her smartphone when she response my question “ your room already have 2 single bed and 2 blanket, why you need additional blanket,we don’t have additional blanket , I told her “
Are you sure ? This is very basic requirement for additional blanket in hotel “ I was very surprised her replied . I told her my father feeling cold and need additional blanket, she also ask me to call another DID for blanket. I explained to her , no one answer the call., that’s why I come to the lobby and ask for blanket., she looks like very unwilling and not happy my request . Then she said once they have additional blanket and will call my room,.. finally 15min later another staff bring me a blanket to my room, thanks for another friendly staff who pass me blanket.
I beg management to look into this “ small matters and request “ from a guest, if not , link hotel and Sinagpore hotel standard will be tarnished by poor service .
