Hotel 81 Palace Singapore

Very disappointed experience, I found **** in the shower head. Raise the point to the staff and they said the manager would get back to me before check out but it’s never happened.

The staff are friendly and kind. My little suggestion is it would be better if hotel can provide room disposable slippers. Will back to stay. Thank you.

Simple and very clean budget hotel. Suitable for tourists who only need a room to sleep after a day of walking around. For me, this hotel more than enough, because the AC works well, there is a smart TV, mini refrigerator, bathroom with hanging toilet, strong shower, also there is a hairdryer too. One of the recommended budget hotels in the Geylang area, Singapore

First time to stay in Geylang with my husband. The front desk is very friendly and accommodating. The room is clean, and overall we had an enjoyable stay. Thank you!

The room type was wrong, I booked for a double bed but at the end they gave me a twin bed.  After changed back to double bed room, I found the pillow  has been used by someone before because there was hair on it , then I asked for a new pillow case.  The first impression wasn’t good.

Compact, clean and conveniently located.  Buses were just a few minutes walk, but the nearest metro was over 10 minutes brisk walk away.  Rather disconcerting was the laminated card and we were read the riot act.  “No visitors, no durians, no coffee …”.  Pardon?  Can‘t make a cup of coffee?  What they meant was the kettle couldn’t be used as a percolator!  Despite putting on the “do not disturb” light, cleaning guy still entered our room.  Ensuring that the house rules were observed?  Felt I was back at school. Cheerful Jay on reception was exceptionally helpful with advice about money changers, buses and other local eateries.  Other staff were also helpful. Taxi driver asked “you know this is a red light district?”  No, but it’s quite common with central locations.
