Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms in an excellent part of Sentosa Island. Amenities are great. The marina facing rooms are awesome. I particularly liked the bathroom with its sunken tab, the pool, the gym and the arcade room. It’s less than 2 min walk to a 7/11 and some stores and 10 min to all the restaurants. The service at this resort needs a SIGNIFICANT reality check though.
1) The shuttle bus stop is about 100metres from the hotel and it’s frustrating that a 5* hotel doesn’t offer a porter service. I’d still consider this acceptable, however they didn’t even offer a porter service to take the bags to the room! Sorry, that’s not 5* service.
2) Nobody at the hotel is interested in telling you about the hotel amenities or what’s nearby to do. Very disinterested staff.
3) Weak WIFI
4) Taking a $100 “security deposit” for room damage is a bit over the top! This is a 5* hotel, not a hostel!
5) On lines of customer service, again poor service at the Chinese restaurant on the premise. Poor breakfast spread that wasn’t warm around 10am.
