L Hotel @ Bugis Ville Reviews

Checked in 4pm to find the room aircon leaking & mouldy with tissues stuffed inside by previous tenant/engineering team. I went to the front office to ask for a room change and waited till 9pm to be told that the hotel is fully booked and the housekeeping team is not available in the night. I asked for a refund instead and was told that they cannot make decisions. I was told to wait again while they call their management. At 930pm, i could not wait any longer, i checked out and stayed else where. At this moment i have yet to get my refund from the hotel/trip. Stay at your own risk as i specifically request for a clean room and left a note that the guest has dust allergies.

The location is fantastic. It’s in Bugis so it means you can go anywhere in Singapore from here. It’s walking distance to three different MRT lines and has a bus stop right in front. There’s a 7-11 next to it too.

It is always nice to stay but this time i was shocked for cleanliness. Used shampoo when we check in. Never change bed sheets from previous guest. Never wash toliet bowl with yellow urine stain. 1 night around 100SGD which i think very disapointing especially we arrive late to stay. But i understand not enough human resource for housekeeping that explain why however for the price paid in SGD really not acceptable. However staff was very nice for deposit wise when i check in, because her flexible on check out timing which is that reason so i didn't ask for change room rather we just proceed with the stay after also we observe night staff very busy with many room fully booked so we wanted to help the staff we didn't complain. Normally i would complain and request change room but the staff replace with easy going and nice attitude so i decided to give and take even if hotel housekeeper didn't clean room properly and proceed to sold the room😓 however over trip.com i do not want to share fake review so i think i need to highlight this before you all book so that you all will have a prepare before coming here instead getting angry. This place is suitable only if you are looking for a night or short stay. Location wise super convenient just that the room sound proof not good can get noisy at night.

This place is extraordinary the staff was friendly, Bugis is very close to everyone

nice place but the Aircon is not cold enough. I even asked the staff to adjust the temperature but it was still not cold as I slept in sweat. There still needs more improvement for the hotel. 1) even if u stay 2 days no housekeeping to clean the room. 2) The aircon needs to be fixed. 3) The shower needs to have a rack display for shampoo/shower.which I had to put my toiletries on the floor. 4) Tv is a smart tv but some of the channels can't get signal. Just the local channels.

Room is spacious. Hotel is walking distance to Bugis MRT. Lots of restaurants. Walking distance to Singapore National Library and Suntech shopping mall. Basin is full of fungus at the edge. Very dirty.

Room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Bathroom was also very clean which is very important for us. Thanks.

Checkin is 3pm, i arrived hotel at 2:55pm there are 2men at counter one was busy with other guest i went to talk with the staff next to him and he turn to blame me that the checkin time is at 3pm and ipad has only one the room need to be clean as well so he ask me to wait after that he realize that we are a bit disappointed he act to be friendly (3:00pm). He started to ask abt our booking reference. I am the one who made booking via online but show my partner name first i try to tell him but he doesn't care at all he try to find my name when he didn't see he start ask me again when we provide another passport he show his bad behavior again. The facilities inside the room also old and the pillow and bad mattress is so dirty. Not Recommended to stay there. The location is very good and safety.

Room is a little small but great for couples. Would definitely stay in this hotel again.

So far so good. The receptionists are lovely. Everything is good and fine.

Overall it's good, clean, but you need to call the front desk to adjust the air conditioning. The soundproofing is poor.

the location is very central, hence we booked it as we were going for 2xu run. toilet was a tad bit small, there were some small stains on the bed sheets here and there

the location of the hotel makes it perfect. quite many big malls and tourist attractions are just within walking distance from the hotel. flies were found in the room. the door of the shower space could not be closed perfectly. a bit of water dropped from the air con vent.

Travel with my wife the price fluctuate everyday. the service is just so so I know this is Singapore. The staff is a bit cocky, but in general it’s fine.
