It's a good place if you are not looking for anything luxurious. Staff is helpful and location is good. Although our bedroom didn't have a window😅 but it's okay

Booked deluxe queen room, the room layout is different with the pictures shown online. For those planning to book the same type of room might want to be caution. Was informed the there are diff layout for this room type, however the pictures of diff layout were not included in the website, the explanation doesn’t seem reasonable. Also, for light sleepers, noise from the corridor can be heard inside the room. Other than that overall ok.

I recently stayed at Stories Joo Chiat and had an okay experience. The room was quite dark and the furniture showed signs of wear and tear, but might still be in good working order. The pillows were too soft for my liking. There was a bath tub and bidet, I appreciate that! However, the room has no soundproofing. I could hear other hotel guests talking and slamming doors. The location was ideal—close to many Halal food places and shopping centres. Overall, I highly recommend not to have too high expectations staying here and I suggest the hotel management to work on the betterment of the hotel.

I had a pleasant stay at this guesthouse. The room was clean and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities I needed. The air conditioning worked great, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. The location is excellent—within walking distance to local attractions, food stalls, and public transportation. The only downside was that the soundproofing could be better, as I could occasionally hear noise from the hallway. Overall, it's a great value for the price, and I would recommend it for short stays or budget-friendly travel.

Good location and convenience. There are many restaurants and super market near hotel. The staff is helpful and friendly. The room is clean. The air conditioner is quiet and cool. The weakness is the room size, too small. It is not recommended for couples or family.

Good place for few days, Location was nice too, near fairprice store, something about the ac was weird where it kept turning on and off and it got too hot at middle of night, the ac is automatic and there was no control over it, I didn’t like that but besides that it was okay.
