Claude Hotel - Newly renovated

Conveniently located near the subway and diverse eateries. Exceptionally clean rooms, friendly staff, and good value for money. New facilities and RITUALS amenities appreciated.

Rooms are clean, well decorated. But they are small and ease of walking is inhibited. Room is overlooking courtyard. But the rain prevents the use. And wasted its function. Could hear the rumbling of subway trains transmitted up from the ground. Otherwise, walking distance to Chinatown is great. Sited between two subway stations.

The single room is extremely small, price-wise i think it's not worth it. And i think it's very inconsiderate to put air-con above the bed, my head was exposed to the cold air billowing from the vane. I did adjust the vane and slept the opposite way (so that the cold air blows on my lower-half instead), but it wasn't that satisfying and i had restless two-nights sleep. The day i arrived at the hotel was raining, my room is at the outside (you have to walk across an open-air yard to get to the room) and it really ****** to see my shoes along with water touched the tiny space of the ground in my room. Would be preferable if they put a shoe cleaning mat before the door of my room. These are what come to mind when i stayed at the hotel. However, the staff are very nice and helpful, they are great.
