Stayed for 4 nights in July 2025. The location is good, just a few minutes walk from Bugis MRT station, and there are many restaurants nearby. However, I give it one star out of five. I don't know about the women's room, but there is only one water tap (sink) for the men's room for over 50 people. There are only four toilets and showers, two separate ones and two in each room. This doesn't seem to violate Singapore law, but it clearly shows the owner's attitude towards his guests. In the morning, you often have to fight with other people over the sink, and it's normal to wait 5-10 minutes. It's not cleaned and dirty. There are also numerous shoes and slippers left in a mess at the entrance, including disposable slippers that have been thrown away. Footwear is not permitted inside the building, but the floors are dirty and indoor beach sandals are a must. There is a refrigerator, but it is not organized at all, and there is rotten food left there, giving off a foul odor, so new guests should assume that it is practically unusable. The price is close to the lowest in the area, so the clientele is extremely poor. The room is small, and there are many suitcases at the entrance, so the door sometimes cannot be opened. There is no space to pack luggage inside the room.

Overall ok. Match with the price. Service Good for me. Only need to add more toilet.

Nice hostel and perfect location near Bugis junction, at Singapore city center. Clean and confortable stay.

I had a great stay at The Room @ Bugis Capsule Hotel! The location is convenient, and the facilities are well-maintained. I especially want to mention the Myanmar staff, Htut, who was very nice and friendly—he made me feel very welcome. The bathrooms are clean and are cleaned frequently by the staff. Thank you for the comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

I would like to share my review of The Room @ Bugis. Receptionist Htut is very nice and friendly, and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The location is very convenient—just a short walk from Bugis MRT Exit D. The receptionist is from Myanmar, which is especially helpful and comfortable for Myanmar guests like me. I had a great experience and would recommend this place! Thank you!
