I like the loft concept but my dad didnt haha, he said he would prefer not having to climb the stairs when he wants to lie down and little space to walk around but its just a personal preference. Amenities wise there is a kitchenette and a rather large fridge, which i really like! Service provided by Ryan, Shannen and Andrew were prompt and efficient, appreciate this alot!

Chinatown
This hotel can be easy to miss but if you follow the numbering given on the address, you should be able to find it very easily. Just a 2 min walk from Chinatown MRT and you’re right at the doorstep. This hotel is built on shophouses from the colonial days and do not have lifts. But I’m sure the helpful receptionists will help if you ask. The hotel is newly renovated at the time when this review is posted. So everything was new and clean. Sheets and towels were spotless. Iron and ironing board provided. Hairdryer is available. The wifi was super fast and can take multiple devices. Soap and shampoo provided so travellers can travel light. The kitchenette came with all the utensils provided. Forks spoons knives, pots and pans to do your own cooking. The room came with all lighting thought of. Night lights, wardrobe lights, bathroom ambient lighting as well. You will be able to configure and customise to your own liking. Although the hotel faces the street where most tourists will walk, there is little noise because the windows are double paned which blocks all noise from reaching the room. So even if you’re sleeping in the day, there’s no way you will be disturbed by the street banter. Location wise, this place is in the heart of Chinatown and there are plenty of food option available. Chinatown complex is just 2 min walk from the hotel doorstep, where you can window shop or do actual shopping. The food complex is on the 2nd level of Chinatown complex where it will take you more than a month to sample every single dish. Chinatown point is also about 5 min walk away, and there you can find all sorts of eateries. There is also a supermarket (FairPrice) there, together with pharmacies (Watsons and Guardian) if you need. Overall a great stay and would recommend to any traveller.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Was assisted by Anna and Jarwin, they were such a great help, from assisting us with the check in codes etc, daily follow ups on further assistance (with great care and details). And I left my stuff in the hotel after the check out, they promptly contacted me to info to retrieve. Room is super clean and comfy. As good as the pictures shown. Location is super close to everything. Will definitely come again to stay here or check out on the other Heritage collection locations. Overall super satisfied with the stay here, in terms of location, space, assistance. Ow ya they have laundry and also dryer facilities as well!!!!

Chinatown
Pro: 1. Excellent location in the Chinatown right next to the MRT station. Maxwell station is close by as well. Close to a lot of restaurants and shops. Two hawker markets within minutes walk. 2. Exceptional soundproofing. No noise even in the middle of all these shops. 3. Small but well organized and functional room with full kitchenette. 4. Good bed and shower. Con: 1. The app was not user friendly and not providing good instructions. The digital key was a hit or miss. However, staffs were excellent to respond. Also they actual gave you a room key card which was very helpful. 2. The room was small and the air conditioner blow directly onto the bed and was very uncomfortable to sleep and I needed to block the airflow with some clothes. They should install an air flow diverter. This alone cut the rating from 5 to 4 stars. 3. The bathroom door was transparent so may not be good for some guests. A blind or curtain will be good. Other: The bed of the deluxe studio has only one side to get on so not convenient if you have two people. But since I know this before I book so not a ”con”.

Singapore River
We are very satisfied with our 14 night stay at South Bridge road 36. The price is lower than most hotels of a similar standard and location offer. Hotel prices in Singapore are otherwise crazy high. It's also important to be mentally prepared for the fact that the studio is very small. But at the same time it is very functional, modern, clean, quiet and the kitchenette has everything needed. Big plus for free access to washing machine and dryer. The location is very central and within short walking distance to attractions and two different MRT stations. Self-checkin worked without any problems and we had a well-functioning contact with our digital concierge Ryan through Whats up who quickly and kindly answered the questions that arose during the stay. However, we do not recommend the restaurant Macpherson BBQ, which is located next door. The take away is really a hit or miss. Our last order consisted almost entirely of chicken bones and stingray with no substance except loads of bones. The staff at the restaurant was also unexpectedly rude and unfriendly, especially the younger female. We highly recommend booking Heritage collection on South Bridge rd 36 but avoid the restaurant next door.
