minimalist vibe, notions of Japanese, soft music playing in the background like the onsens in Japan but its more funky. This place is a perfect blend of value, location, freindlyness and so clean. I watched Shan one of the staff clean the ownstairs area one morning when I was working on my laptop in the lobby, he was amazing, so diligent and detail orientated with the job in hand. Earlier that day I had messed up my booking as did not include my last night which was the 5th night, they were fully booked, but Fiqah was so sweet and tried to shuffle things around and managed to get me a bed for the night.. Esther also helped me a number of times throughout my stay with a cheerful ”can do” attitude. I am a recruiter and I dont know what Kinn is doing during through hiring process, but this team is 1st class, unbelievable level of care and attention for the customer. This is the second time i stayed in Kinn within 3mths, the time before I had a issue with my back due to an old injury, one morning I could not bend down to put my shoes on and I embarrasingly asked Fiqah to help me put my socks on and help me tie my shoes before I had to go to a meeting, can you imagine being asked that by a guest in Singapore, but you know what, she didnt hesitate, smiling and helping me as I sat there in awe of her incredible humble service orientated attitude. This is the kind of place to you don't want to tell everyone who awesome it is because you want to e able to get a booking next time im in town, you dont want to tell the world what a fantastic job this place is doing in case the next time I come its already fully booked!! Do not miss this awesome place to stay if you are coming to Singapore!

The room was small for the price but I think that's normal for Singapore. Location was excellent, easy to walk to so many places and also not far from the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful

The room was super clean, comfy and functional. All amenities provided, even washing powder to be used with the free laundry washer/dryer in the laundry room. You need a passport, and know how to use their mobile app to self check in and unlock the room door. There is no one onsite after 6pm, but the team will try to assist you over WhatsApp. Thank you for the great stay!

We are very satisfied with our 14 night stay at South Bridge road 36. The price is lower than most hotels of a similar standard and location offer. Hotel prices in Singapore are otherwise crazy high. It's also important to be mentally prepared for the fact that the studio is very small. But at the same time it is very functional, modern, clean, quiet and the kitchenette has everything needed. Big plus for free access to washing machine and dryer. The location is very central and within short walking distance to attractions and two different MRT stations. Self-checkin worked without any problems and we had a well-functioning contact with our digital concierge Ryan through Whats up who quickly and kindly answered the questions that arose during the stay. However, we do not recommend the restaurant Macpherson BBQ, which is located next door. The take away is really a hit or miss. Our last order consisted almost entirely of chicken bones and stingray with no substance except loads of bones. The staff at the restaurant was also unexpectedly rude and unfriendly, especially the younger female. We highly recommend booking Heritage collection on South Bridge rd 36 but avoid the restaurant next door.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights, attracted primarily by the good price! The lady behind the check in desk was really kind and welcoming. We stayed on the top floor, where the double beds are situated above a small desk area like a bunk bed. While the space was quite small, it was everything we needed, complete with a safe and plenty of charging ports for int’l plugs and USBs. The bed was very comfy, and the curtain gave us good privacy. The lounge area was nice, with a simple kitchen area and plenty of books/games. The toilets on the top floor were very simple, not as nice as the toilet for the lower rooms but served it’s function just fine!! The showers were also fine, nothing special but they worked well. While not a massive issue, loud music could be heard slightly from the outside until around 3am, and with late arrival/leaving of guests, there was a fair amount of noise within the dorm itself on our second night. Overall I think this hostel is WELL worth the price. The location is excellent, a stones throw from Raffles Place and Clark Quay MRT stations. It doesn’t appear to be a very sociable hostel but it’s great for couples!!

This experience is not for everyone. I didn't mind it but my hubby absolutely hated it and didnt get any sleep. His main complaint was the noise. Many people's complain that the noises carry easily from pod to pod in their reviews, so we knew about it beforehand. There was a couple in the pod next to ours that was always talking loudly. I slept through it all. I loved the galaxy theming and the blue lights / spaceship vibe. The room was bigger than I imagined. We got the double and 6-foot-hubby was able to sit up in the bed without hitting his head. It was even big enough for me to store our backpacks by our feet. Note: Several other guests were storing their large suitcases in the hall outside the pods. I didn't know if there would be any luggage storage, so we left our big bags at the airport storage. There is also a small locker that you can use for even more storage The communal bathrooms were not very nice. It was shower/toilet all-in-one, so everything was always wet. There was, however, nice hot water available. They provided towels--which I forgot to ask about when booking, so was very happy to see that. There was a TV in our pod, but it didn't work. The temperature in the pod was very hot! Customer service was great! We went to the WRONG Galaxy Capsule hotel and they were so nice to explain where the other one was and even said: even though you are staying at the other hotel, you can store your backpacks here for awhile while you explore Chinatown! We couldn't check in for a few hours anyway, so that was a really nice offer!

THE BEST REVIEW YOU WILL READ ABOUT THIS HOTEL! I wasn’t sure to book after reading bad reviews about the dirt so I came myself to check it and then I booked it online. Yes, It’s not really clean, but I think the staff do their best to clean when people check in, if it gets dirty, it’s because guest are dirty! Leaving their dirty clothes everywhere, smoking in the toilet etc. Bed, towel and blanket looked clean and didn’t smell other people. But there were a few small hair behind the pillow.. This place is cheap for SG, how? They don’t have someone working on the desk.. self checkin and asking to other guest. I came at 19:00 and no one was working there, I left around 12:00 and I guess the person who came to the reception was the worker. Its nice Wi-fi it’s good even in the bed (Room 2) and also there is hot and cold water to refill your bottle! There are security box were you can store your bags. BAD: The cabins are not the original, the doors are not from plastic like in other cabins, so you can still hear noise if there is and you don’t have your own AC but the ones in the room. The door is a grey curtain and can’t make the cabin dark because the light from the room and exit signals pass through. The only way yo charge the phone is with USB so if you have a Type-C like me, you will have to charge your phone outside at the reception. If I would have to stay in SG again I would still choose this place.
