Hotels near Boon Keng Ville in Singapore

First of all, the customer service was quite poor in my opinion. There was no one at the front desk of the lobby. We couldn’t enter bc we need the room’s card so we were stranded outside for some time as they were not answering our calls. After minutes of waiting, the staff finally came and assist us with our check in. He was quite rude in my opinion. Talked to us like he doesn’t want to work. Other than that, the room was amazing. Everything was clean. The room came with a foldable table, tv, kitchen, utensils, hair dryer, slippers, washing machine/dryer, microwave and fridge. The toilet also has a bidet! Although the customer service was not the best, the room does make up for it. But just bare in mind that the room and toilet isn’t as big as the picture portrays it to be. There’s Fairprice nearby so thats really great. You can go there and buy ingredients to cook in the hotel room hehe. There’s also Mrt (Kallang station) nearby. Walking distance only. Just right pposite the hotel got busstop also. Everything is super near and convenient. One suggestion for the hotel is maybe you guys should assign someone to sit at the front desk at all times. Therefore we can be assisted as and when its needed without having to wait so long for someone to appear. All in all, i would still be down to come back again in the future regardless! :)

The room is very small but it was fine for a night. There was a bottle of 2 in 1 shampoo and shower gel which was nice but we brought our own. Room was clean which was nice. And, receptionist was helpful.

The room is clean, bed comfy, clean towel and sheet Breakfast only mini french bread and coffee Shower room with hot water and shower gel - It’s quite confusing on check in, the check in online always error and nobody on the reception, until I saw a stack of paper on the table with one of guest name then I looked for my name and found the room number Upper bed to high with narrow ladder, I m almost fell down twice Air Cond too cold and no remite control to adjust

Location of the hotel was great with many eateries around but that was about it. At first glance, the room looked ok; however, it had a foul and fishy smell upon entering. It was small but if you are just looking for a bed to rest and a bathroom to wash up, it will suffice. Not recommended for people who are not petite in size as it is really cramped. The lighting was dim and there was no window; it took a while for my eyes to get used to it and after that, I realised that there were dust and hair everywhere, even on the bed. Upon further scrutiny, I saw ants - endless trails of them, crawling on the walls, along the bed, on the table, in the bathroom. I took videos but unfortunately, only pictures can be posted here and the ants were too small to be seen and appeared as white dots. Some even came onto the bed. It was really uncomfortable and made me feel itchy all over. As the air conditioner was very dusty and the bed was right underneath it, there was black dust all over the sheets. The towels had holes in them and they were dirty. There was litter in the shower area and I found a cockroach crawling on the sink in the bathroom. I can understand about the thin walls and hearing noises along the corridor but cleanliness is something that cannot be compromised, even in a budget/3-Star hotel. In fact, there are cleaner and cheaper hotels in the same area. I am deeply disappointed because I was there to celebrate my birthday and it was indeed unforgettable, in a very terrible way. This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

very close to national stadium. the room is compact but comfortable enough just to sleep. very close to kallang and aljunied MRT station. also you can find the foods easily around the neighborhood.

Awesome hotel, beautifully decorated and excellent service staff. Great area to be in away from crowds. Brilliant whiskey library with an amazing selection of whiskey and very very good cocktails. Breakfast was well prepared with decent selection (some of everything if you have different cravings). Room was small so don’t expect to bring huge luggages for the basic room but it was perfect for 2N with my girlfriend. Clean rooms, again well decorated and comfortable beds, clean showers (rain and regular showerhead) and soaps were awesome. Their line of soaps and perfumes are very interesting and we are checking it out aside from our trip. Not a single negative feedback I have.

Good hotel but room will be a bit smaller than you think. They only give body towels (no facial or hand towel) and do not have “do not disturb” sign

I really like this family-owned hotel (I asked). Huge TV on a swivel with Netflix, Amazon Prime Video etc all loaded up and you could access with your password. Bigger and brighter than many boutique (cheap) hotels in Singapore. Staff (my man Orange) were super friendly and helpful about calling taxis. Lots of local food in the area. The walk to the MRT was about 10 minutes (at my pace) which is doable without getting sweaty if you are in reasonable shape. I would have rated higer if it was closer to the MRT and/or attached to aircon shopping malls. But it isn't too far from the downtown core - maybe a 10 minute taxi ride. The street was very quiet after 8pm or so as it is an unusual mix of residential and travel hotels off the main street. The fridge was stocked with inclusive beer and canned iced teas and instant coffee and tea and some snacks daily. All included. Housekeeping super flexible about when they would turn down your room depending on when you were/were not there. Quite good and I would go back no problem. Next time I am booking on Trip.com, will def check its availability and price.

I spent two days there on my Eras tour. Location is perfect walk about 17min to National Stadium. My room is for only 2 person with 2 small bed. And there is a small 7-eleven in front of hotel so you can enjoy a night snack. If you have event at Nation Stadium i recommended.

The room looks old but is kept clean except for the blanket which have an obvious stain mark, but since its at the edge I'm willing to look past this. Aircond controls seems to be not working, making the room very cold eventhough fan had been set lowest and temperature the highest. The floor being tiles only doesn't help as well. Otherwise its a good 2 nights stay for me considering the convenient location. Service by the staffs are satisfactory as well.
