The room was not bad, but about 170 euros was frozen on the credit card every day, which made me speechless. It was obviously prepaid by Ctrip. I told the front desk, but to no avail.
Arrival Experience: As a Marriott Platinum member, I received a warm welcome with complimentary breakfast and lounge access, though no welcome drink was provided. Free parking is available a short walk away, or you can opt for on-site parking for a fee. The check-in process was a bit slow. Rooms: We stayed in two separate rooms as no connecting rooms were available. The rooms were spacious and clean. Location: The hotel is located in a Daimler group city, not very close to Stuttgart. The drive from Stuttgart is slow and takes at least 30 minutes, so plan accordingly. Despite its proximity to a main road, there was no road noise. Breakfast: The breakfast was very good, offering a solid continental spread with some German specialties, including omelettes and a variety of meats. The staff was helpful and kind. Unfortunately, there is no outdoor seating. Overall, the breakfast is in line with 5-star hotel standards. Executive Lounge: This was probably the most disappointing executive lounge I’ve visited in Europe. It is quite small(up to probably max 20-25 people) and very crowded, mostly with long-term guests. During our weekend visit, spaghetti was the only hot dish offered, with no soup or other warm options. While the lounge is clean and adheres to Marriott’s design standards, the limited offerings were a letdown. According to Tripadvisor, there aren’t any alternative options within a few kilometers apart from the hotel’s own steakhouse. Problems: We encountered no issues during our stay. Departure: Billing was accurate and handled promptly. Kid Activities: There is no kids club or nearby public park for children. Summary: We stayed here for a long weekend in Stuttgart, but I would recommend finding a hotel closer to the city. While the staff was very kind and engaged, the hotel’s location is not ideal for Stuttgart tourists, and the executive lounge was quite disappointing (though the lounge staff, particularly one gentleman who may have been of Indian descent, was very polite and kind). Despite the free breakfast for Bonvoy elite members, I don't think it is of good value for Stuttgart tourists.

Fabulous hotel , food, and service . Great hotel in great location. Comfortable beds , hot breakfast , friendly staff. Professional. Easy to book. If you need anything the staff are always on hand to help

A nice place with welcoming staff. Whilst not “Stuttgart” as such, as it is misleadingly named, this is a good place if you don’t need to be next to a busy city. Everyone is polite and is there to help. Steakhouse serves fantastic steaks and the Local restaurant has decent options for lunch/dinner.

I was of the view that this property (part of Marriott) is a 5 star hotel and can expect good service for foreign nationals. But to my disappointment it was one of my worst experience that I could ever expect. I am sure the management is least bothered since they are getting their money paid and not concerned about CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. I stayed here for a week. 1) Being a pure vegetarian I did not find any options in the breakfast menu or in the hotel menu. Breakfast was included as part of my rates. Given with no much choice I requested for some steamed vegetables in the breakfast menu. But they kept only mushrooms and few pieces of potatoes in that. After giving feedback to the staff I was hoping to get some choice of food but nothing worked. 2) When I requested for jus plates and spoons - the staff said they cannot service to rooms and that I need to come and pick myself. What service is this called by MARRIOTT if customer has to come and take it by himself. Are you running a Service apartment in the name of hotel ?? 3) The plates served were not even well cleaned ( had bad foul smell) thank you marriott for this pathetic service. I had similar challenges when I traveled to Japan & Mexico and Hilton properties were well accommodative and they take care of customers so well understanding their situation and expectation. Why is this not there with Marriott management. Will it really cost you so much of you give good washed dishes, serve some vagatables in the menu, or are you least bothered that it will hit your pocket so badly... One of my worst hospitality service that I could think off...

Extremely disappointed with the service at this hotel. I had to work overnights while staying at this hotel and the staff required me to let the cleaning staff come in to clean my room, and could not accommodate around my sleep schedule. After working a 13 hour shift overnight, the last thing I want is to wait another 2 hours after I get back for housekeeping to clean a room that I barely soiled and didn't want nor need cleaned. Additionally, I reserved at the lodging and breakfast rate, but had to fill out additional paperwork intermittently when the staff checked if I could access breakfast in the mornings. This made no sense as this would happen for several days, then my room would appear on the list as being covered for lodging and breakfast, but then the next day I would fall off the list again. I brought this up with the staff member checking the breakfast list as well as the front desk with no resolution and apparently no interest in resolving this.

So many great things to note about this hotel. Outstanding location for our family during transition to another country. One of the best Marriott's from my experience. Outstanding breakfast. Service all round was superb. Parking was tight but worked. My family would quickly return if given the opportunity.

The hotel is comfortable, rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff are attentive and the breakfast buffet is amazing. We stayed here on a weekend visit with kids. Beds are comfortable, rooms are big and amenities are nice. The Executive Lounge has a terrific evening snack spread. Parking is tight, but manageable. The staff are amazing. Very friendly, helpful and polite.

I stayed at this Marriott for four nights in May and I booked an executive floor room. The hotel is not close to downtown Stuttgart, but the location is good if you’re traveling to the area for business. I’ve always had issues with AC in European hotels, so much so that one of my standing requests is “working AC”. When I entered my room, I entered a beautifully cooled room. The colors in the room are muted, and the furniture simple, but very comfortable. There was no noise and everything in the room looked rather new. Comfortable bed, comfortable small seating area, nice TV (though not a good selection of international channels), all contributed to a comfortable stay. There is no view to speak of, owing to the location. The bathroom, while clean, was long and narrow. The executive lounge is in the lobby area behind the bar, and it had drinks and food each day. If you’re driving, there’s a parking lot under the hotel. Parking is rather expensive and it has narrow spaces, so keep that in mind when reserving a car. Staff was pleasant and accommodating and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. All in all, a very pleasant experience matching what I was looking for during this trip.

We stayed 10 days, April 2021, before finding our apartment in Stuttgart. Property is pretty good, well-designed, very nice people at reception & restaurant. Food is good, breakfast could be better, but not bad. Super comfortable bed & pillows, clean room. Parking is additional charge.

This property likely attracts people due to it proximity to Mercedes offices and nearby military bases. However, regardless of how you end up here, you will be pleased with the service. It far exceeds expectations for a Marriott. The property has a sun-filled lobby that is lively in the mornings and evenings. The food options are good. Room service is prompt and of high quality. The rooms are standard Marriott type rooms. The bathrooms are the normal size, typically with walk-in showers. There is a modest gym in the basement to keep up with a typical workout. There is also a nice sauna and a pool. There are more expensive hotels you can choose in the City Center but the service and amenities here are just a good. If you need to be close to the bases, the airport, or Mercedes, this is a better, more affordable choice. One thing to note is that the building is on a central steam / chilled water heating / cooling system. During the winter, if you run hot, you can only get the room so cold. You'll need to open a window to get it colder (which you can crack the window.) This is not unique to this property - it's typical in most hotels here. No matter where you stay, you might want to check.

Stayed for one night in Oct at short notice - still managed to get a good rate and, on top of that, a superb upgrade with our Ambassador status. This hotel is, first and foremost, very well managed and in superb shape. Additionally, everything works and this is a place where nothing goes wrong and the excuse "because of Corona" is then pulled. A few highlight: the lounge. PM happy hour - not only drinks and chips but a good selection of cold and warm meals as well. The buffet they offer is also replenished throughout the full lounge hours. Breakfast: good choice and good quality. They also keep their self-service areas replenished and in clean and orderly shape. If something is spilled, which happens, then someone cleans. If a coffee machine needs emptying the try, someone does it. If guests leave from a table, someone cleans is for the next guests. It is all of that - more an excellent attitude topic thany anything else - that makes the experience a memorable and pleasurable one. Rooms: clean, modern and in perfect order. Nothing is broke, nothing is dated. Whilst it looks like the place has recently undergone refurbishment, they (their houskeeping) keep it in good shape. We also used the swimming pool and the sauna. Same goes here: well done. Staff: wherever, whenever: just friendly and welcoming associates in all areas. A true pleasure to stay here and we will certainly go back.

Managers, amazing, front desk delightful, wait staff fantastic, cleaning staff great! All around the staff here is superb. Location is a big awkward, no greenery, right on the street of a busy road, a big of a walk to any downtown ~20min, but has Kaufland grocery, restaurant in the park, a pizza shop and Chinese place about 5 min walk. On site great restaurant but can be a bit more money than out in town. Parking terrible. Very small and the overflow is 2.5 blocks away with an uphill so not great. If you're a long term guest on PCS the washer and dryer don't work well, very small 2 each and the dryer has no vents so barely dries after an hour, so plan to do laundry elsewhere.
