Ioana Boutique Hotel

The room we had was simply incredible! Probably best weve stayed in (Spa Lake suite). Set over 3 floors and each accessed via a spiral staircase. You enter the room at the top level, with the bedroom below and a jacuzzi and sauna at the bottom! Also 3 bathrooms and 3 showers. Quite incredible. The rest of the hotel was lovely. It is located at the top of the hill above the town, so not really walking distance into town. Nearby is the fantastic cable car and a Taverna and restaraunt. Both lovely. Staff helpful and the whole stay was faultless. If booking this room and you have mobility issues the Spa Lake suite is not for you as its quite a climb from the bottom floor to top of the apartment. Wow, what a place!!!

This place used to be amazing with a great restaurant, we have stayed many times in the past years! Now it is just terrible! Rooms run down with carpet stains, NO room service to clean and bring new towels, nothing! No hello when you come back from hiking, no guest attitude, nothing left. Restaurant has been removed, there is a small dining room left with a joke for breakfast. Do NOT bother to come here anymore. The lounge has been "redesigned" with a bar where is just nobody there behind the bar all day long. It is such a pity, but this happens when you have new owners that don't care anymore.

Set in the mountains this hotel is more like a resort. Our suite was large and well appointed and had beautiful forest views. The service was excellent. An exceptional breakfast was presented with a huge array of food options. Wish we had more time here.

The hotel is by no means 5 stars, maximum 3, real. I stayed 3 nights in an apartment, the cleanliness is so-so, they probably have problems with the vacuum cleaner the cheap furniture, already degraded the carpet full of stains, and the worst problems, with the hot water which was not really hot. The staff is OK, the restaurant is ok but very expensive, probably only the restaurant is 5 stars. :) Very expensive for the conditions offered!

Our family has stayed at this hotel during ski season and in the Summer, and it is amazing. It's such a cozy place - the bar area downstairs is so comfortable, with couches, games, and books. The staff are incredibly friendly - they really go out of their way to help. And the restaurant downstairs is one of our favorites in Sinaia. I can't recommend this hotel enough. If you plan on going on the gondola for skiing or hiking, it's hard to beat this location.

We travelled to Ioana Hotel as a family and we stayed in Tirol suite. Absolutely fabulous! I can't complain about anything. Just perfect! Clean rooms! Champagne, chocolate and fruits! temperature in the room was perfect! And the restaurant was fabulous! All the dishes were perfectly cooked and the waiter was very knowledgeable! He helped us pairing with a great wine all our dishes!
