Pretty chill place

We stayed here after evacuating with some dogs from hurricane Ian. After unpacking everything, I noticed stained sheets. They neither looked nor smelled clean. The pillows on the other bed smelled of men’s cologne. The heating unit gave off such a terrible burnt smell that it couldn’t be used. The phone was dead, and you could not call the front desk; calls went to a corporate representative. You have to walk to the lobby if you need anything. We asked to change rooms, but they said they had no other rooms available and gave us a set of sheets instead. We were exhausted and regrettably ended up staying. I got no sleep and would rather be at home without electricity than here. It will be unsafe to drive today due to the lack of sleep. The inconsistency of review ratings across various sites should be a red flag. My experience here did not match to this site’s rating. I might never go to another Motel 6 again.
