Stayed in a lovely room with balcony on the ground floor, room 104 with great view of the boats in the harbour, even spotted a whale from here. Room had fridge, tea and coffee (and milk). Wi-if wasn’t great which we found a lot on our touring holiday of South Africa. The only bad thing was the bed, it was very, very firm, we asked if they could do anything to rectify and they tried their best with a duvet cover on the base but it would be a good idea if they invested in some topper pads. Pillows were good. And bedding was crisp cotton sheets, air con in the room. The room was very handy for walking to the local shops and restaurants and you felt quite safe in the evening walking from A to B. They outsourced the breakfast with the fish restaurant next door but there are several cafes and restaurants open for breakfast within a short walk. The staff were all lovely and very friendly and a really nice touch to have the yummy welcoming sherry drink on arrival. Free parking at the side of the hotel entrance but not a lot of it so not sure what they do if it is full. Would recommend but they could really do with doing something with the beds.
