The location of the hotel is perfect, the view is magnificent. The service was excellent, our suite was very spacious with comfortable furnishings. We were very satisfied and would happily come back.

This is a truly five star hotel where every effort is made to ensure your stay is perfect. Combine this with the setting overlooking Knysna lagoon and the heads and it is a must stay hotel, even if you are not a golfer.The management team have set the bar so high it will be difficult tp better.

Some of the staff doesn’t care much about the guests especially the restaurant and front desk staff who showed no warmth at all. Apartments and rooms are beautiful though but wouldn’t recommend or stay here again. Breakfast was the same every day and barely any option to choose from for vegetarians

We had a wonderful stay. Our request for a ground floor sea facing unit was accommodated. On arrival we had a special welcome note from the management of Simola with a complementary bottle of wine. The staff are so amazing and super friendly this goes from reception right through to the security. They made us feel so welcome. Will definitely be back and would recommend this stay to anyone.

It was an excellent stay, very quiet and romantic location with stunning views over knysna city and the breakfast was mix variety of traditional in a wonderful atmosphere. Need to give more attention to room service and cleaning Put over all it was fantastic
