The property is right on Lake Superior so the views are incredible! It is close to all of the great hiking that is on the north shore, and the amenities are lovely to have on site.

Stayed in the cabin with fireplace and tub. Very nice and relaxing. Left my window open to hear the waves from the lake. Dinner at the lodge was delicious and even saw a proposal!

Great experience with the lodge itself and our stay in the cabin was lovely. The only issue was with dining options. We’ve stayed a couple years in a row and the dining options are hard to get into with reservation times and seem understaffed. There’s options in Two Harbors which isn’t too far of a drive though. The staff are always kind and friendly.

Great location and very friendly staff. Clean room, hallways, pool area, very cozy vibe. Incredible view of Lake Superior, exactly what your North Shore adventure calls for. We had dinner in their dining room, very good but not mind blowing. We didn’t try the more casual burger option. Nice bar. It was the perfect home base for skiing at Lutsen and Giants Ridge. We’ll be back and we recommend!
