2-Star Hotels in Siliguri

I’m writing this review as a foreign tourist visiting India. The hotel Niladrii Galaxy in Siliguri was pretty clean and it fitted our need for one night stay. The service provided by the staff was great - we even received a wake up call when catching an early train and the hotel booked a tuk-tuk for us for the morning which was appreciated. The location is fine too - there are some interesting local markets close by. A good Korean /momo restaurant was also in easy walking distance. The only thing I wasn’t pleased about was the amount of personal data that was required upon check-in - there was the usual ‘log book’ that most Indian hotels ask you to fill in (I never quite understood why any establishment should know my father’s name or my relationship status, but these seem to be the rules) but they also took photos of our faces upon check in which seemed pretty invasive and something that no other hotel had asked from us during our 2 months in India. Overall a good place to stay if you are looking for a decent overnight hotel on budget.

An Absolutely lovely service, ambience, food & most importantly hygienic . Lucky to discover My ideal place for outside food whenever I visit Siliguri. I highly recommend Hotel Central Plaza for best experience. The Hotel staff Mr. Prashant Tamang was proactive,efficient and very polite.

Nice place for solo traveler to visit Siliguri

The stay was very short in the hotel, as i used it for a transit to kalimpong. The room is very good, spacious and decorative. But i felt it is a little overpriced. But the amenities and all other facilities are very good. The most important thing is the tenzing norway bus terminus is just a walking distance from this hotel. So if you want to have a layover then you can use this hotel.
