WhiteWoods Convention & Leisure Hotel

We went for an overnight weekend get away and booked a room for 4 pax costing almost Php 9k. The room only has 2 coffee cups, 2 glasses, and 2 complimentary slippers for 4 people. The small fridge and electric kettle are working fine. there were 2 TVs without remote controls and only one TV box rendering them useless. Wifi was terribly slow, and by 6:00pm, wifi signal totally disappeared, apparently we were even lucky that we were able to use the wifi for 4 hours. The coffee shop/restaurant menu has good offerings, unfortunately, only about 10% on the menu was available. The breakfast menu was bacon. fish, tapa and tocino. the tapa and tocino meat was very tough to chew, the fish was very dry, the bacon was not available, accordingly, they are out of stock even though there is a big supermarket outside their gate. The garlic rice is barely edible. The only saving grace is their pools and the supermarket nearby. I am not sure how to describe this place, it is definitely not a leisure hotel. In my opinion, this is an overrated, over-priced one star hotel pretending to be a 3 star hotel. You can get better value and accommodation from cheaper motels. Another way to describe this place in an over priced resort, but you can get better value and it is cheaper renting private resorts in Calamba and Los Baños Laguna.
