We stayed in a pool view villa for  and enjoyed it. The resort location is a little remote but nice. Breakfast at the pool restaurant lovely and dinner at the same spot was also nice. The Manager suggested great restaurant for dinner that he could servce at their pool front. The pool view villas offer complete privacy and the service is excellent. All in all a great resort with nice pool, lush gardens, friendly staff  ( manager & staff). Private beach with the rocks was amazing. But watersport stil not operated

I did my research (and had done plenty of research in years prior) to my first visit to Belitung. Options used to be extremely limited, however accommodation of varied levels are now opening up in Belitung.    In my opinion, Belitung Holiday Resort is by far the best option for families. The 2 bedroom bungalows are perfect for this. Not only are there two bathrooms, the rooms are huge. The pool has a shallow section for kids and a larger, deeper section for adults.    The advertised indoor photos of the rooms have the curtains shut which makes the rooms less appealing than they are in actuality. Although there are no fences between the bungalows and the road and other bungalows, there are privacy curtains that still let in light and views without letting others see in unless it's brighter inside.    Mr Fadhlin is an extremely friendly hotel manager and really is an asset to the hotel.    Whilst the restaurant was quiet, the food was still delicious. Make the most of seafood whilst in Belitung! If you're a Westerner who doesn't want o eat Indonesian food for breakfast, don't expect much beyond some eggs and toast with jam and peanut butter.    Although I am not Indonesian, I can speak Indonesian, so I cannot vouch for experiences for those who cannot speak it. Nevertheless, the Belitungese are extremely easy-going. For a 1 hour trip out of Jakarta, the pace of life here is something else.    Also note that I didn't stay in a single-bedroom room, so your mileage may vary if you do so.

The place it's self is great...certainly it's seen better days. The breakfast now is super basic the water sports are all cancelled, the beach is back to being natural.   But my God the service is horrible. Almost no staff, only 1 cleaner dealing with everything in the resort. Manager only available on WhatsApp and only when he feels like it.  When I booked I believed the water sports were up and running and the restaurant was open. Expected to not need to leave the resort for the duration of my stay.. asked about the water sports about a week before arrival to find out they were all off due to lack of staff. So they offer a car for the duration of our stay as compensation. I agreed as I figured that was pretty fair.  The day before arrival the manager asked what time we were arriving. I gave him the details. When we got to the resort it was completely empty. No staff in sight. We sat in the lobby for over and hour before managing to find the cleaner. (All this time no response from the manager over WA)   We only found out the restaurant was closed when we arrived at the resort. The managers response to this was ask the cleaner to go out and buy food... Ok then... All good and well except she finishes work at 3pm.  Then on our third day we had already made plans with the guide to go out at 12.30. at 11.30 I received a message from the manager saying that we couldn't use the car because it was being rented out by another guest. Seemed odd since it was given to us as compensation. How did another guest suddenly manage to rent it. Once the guide arrived we got a clearer picture. The car was just a rental and the manager actually decided he didn't want to give us it anymore. Compensation cancelled. Manager ignoring contact through both work and personal number. Disgraceful management.  To top it all off on the last day we received 2 breakfasts only for 4 people and noone on the resort could explain why.  Both the guide and the cleaner said the manager is hardly ever there. So I'm guessing there is some sort of corruption going on as the manager gave me his direct account details for the payment. No business account.  Since the news from the manager of no car for the last day I haven't received another reply since.

We stayed at One bed room villa for 3 nights. I got surprise when the Manager, Mr Fadhlin upgrade my room to Two bed room on second night. I like the services of this hotel or villa. The provide everything that i requested. This villa hotel close to beach.  The room was spacious . It was about 110 m2. The room was very clean. Very comfortable for family and room rate very competitive than other 4 star hotel at belitung. The swimming pool was clean too. Very recommended accommodation to belitung.
