It would be incomplete if you come to Siengusa without staying in this castle hotel for one night. The price is reasonable. Breakfast was also good.

Spectacularly sited Parador in the hilltop castle of Siguenza. Typical parador room and menu, but you really come to these places for the building, the location, the atmosphere. Not much to fault this place, but like many of the paradors its pace of life is probably better suited to the traveller interested in culture and history than to families with children.

Loved the experience! It was a bit hot in the room until we opened the window - no AC working. One front desk person was unpleasant but all the rest were awesome!

The hotel is a castle. Staying there, dining in the big salons, sleeping behind the high walls is like going back in time to the Middle Age. But the rooms have all the modern comforts. The restaurant cannot be missed, with tasty local food.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Miserable welcome. Paid for an upgrade which definitely was not worth it.

We've stayed here a few times on our journeys around Spain even though the food in the restaurant is pretty poor bog standard parador fare but just try and get a pot of tea at breakfast - they'll gladly deliver coffee and milk to your table without being asked but if you want tea they point you to an electric kettle 'over there'. Last week there were six of us waiting for this miserable little kettle to boil which raised a few laughs at the time and showed that the English and Dutch share a sense of humour. But that aside we'll be back.

Sadly tatty rooms that were not cheap. We had half board which was not good value for money. The food was mediocre at best. Awful music playing in the public areas. Over priced for what you got. Overall it was disappointing.
