The hotel is old but the room is ok if you don’t have high pretentious. At the checkin there were 2 ladies; a filipino and a spanish that were continuously chatting, i find it very unprofessional. The hotel offers a good variety of food for bfast

This hotel is somewhat of a mixed bag. The best thing about it is the location, literally 2 minutes walking distance to the train station, with at least hourly trains to the heart of Florence only taking 20 mins. Signa itself is not remarkable, but you can find good cheap food. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is very very dated. Not sure how it still has a 4 star category (maybe left over from 40 years ago). The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, but the place smells old and appliances are very old. Breakfast was fine. It seems that they are very focused on big coach travel groups.

This hotel is very well located in front of the station to go to Florence in 15 minutes but on the other hand the train passes once every hour be careful. On the other hand a lot of noise in the hotel the rooms are not soundproofed we hear everything that happens in the next room we arrived around 4 p.m. after visiting the jackhammer next to the window until 7:30 a.m. of the evening. A big flat on the bathroom which is not at all suitable it is a bathroom from another dirty age and the carpet is no longer relevant because it is not hygienic

The corridors of the hotel are kinda nice...that's where the good stuff ends. Smells of stuffy everywhere, very hot and run-down rooms (the chipping and cobwebs on the walls were not a little noticeable), the bathrooms without windows and very small, hard and uncomfortable beds, the blankets totally non-existent, the lights in the room we don't talk about, one dimmed light to illuminate the whole room, a television that will soon compete with CRT televisions. Elevators don't work well, they get stuck very often. The reception unresponsive. Perhaps breakfast is saved, apart from the practically empty croissants. I tried to unplug the television, and in doing so the mirror fell on me, some rooms have balconies with a facade overlooking the void or drug dealers. The bathroom button to flush the toilet loses water, I didn't use the hair dryer for fear of getting an electric shock. Were hearing strange sounds from the room nearby, which kept me up until 3am.

Nice stopover to visit Florence, the nearby station allows you to reach the center in 20 minutes for 2.60€ and not to have to worry about parking. Parking at the hotel is easy, they even allowed us to park our motorbike inside for free. Really a plus. Otherwise impeccable welcome, more than adequate rooms, hearty and tasty breakfast all with attentive service. Do not trust the regulars of palaces at 50 Euros, who waste their time pouring out false comments.
