Beautiful setting, excellent facilities, very attentive and friendly staff, delicious food, superb accommodation, relaxing and calm surroundings. Very relaxing ayurveda messages. We could not fault our stay in any way except for lack of alcohol in the bar which some memebers of our group found challenging 😀. Personally I didn't mind and loved delicious, healthy fruit drinks served.

Amazing and relaxing location. All of the staff were very friendly and would do anything for you. We stayed at this hotel for one night. Just be aware that there is no alcohol or soft drinks at this resort. We hadn't taken this into account and this wasn't the initial hotel we had booked, we got moved here as there had been a complication with bookings by the other hotel. The room was out of this world! Like a whole apartment with a plunge pool, the only thing that was missing was tea and coffee. Otherwise we couldn't have asked for a more friendly team and if you want a complete relaxation, this is the place to go. Thank you team

We have stayed at elephant corridor on 18/19/20 November 2018. Rooms ( Lover's escape )- Very spacious ( with 2 air conditions) , Extremely comfortable bed, Built in pool, clean spacious bathrooms. Food - Delicious food with creative presentations. They have variety to choose from their menu. We had both set menu and buffet during our stay. We had an exceptionaly good Prawn soup and a nasi rice for the dinner..another highlight is their kurakkan kenda which is super tasty. Overall they served us tasty meals with fresh fruits and desserts.All of them were uniquly tasty. Staff - Very friendly staff. Extremely helpfull. All of their reception staff , room boys , restaurant staff , pool attendant were helpful and would go an extra mile to satisfy the customer. SPA - Maheshi who is in charge of the spa is very talented. My wife got a full body massage and I got a foot massage for my self. It was a wonderful relaxing ayurvedic experience. She also gave us some tips about the herbal oils that we can use and some advices to boost our health. I Highly recommend her for an authentic ayrvedic massage.

The food was great, the place was pretty empty. The rooms were huge (like 1200sqft big) and very palatial. The view you get is of the local lake and there are grazing water buffalo as well as mating peacocks right in front. The reception and bar are cool with the former being slightly raised but the view didn't change. The bar has a pool table and ping pong table and would be very cool if you went with a group otherwise it lacks atmosphere. I think the whole place would benefit from being busy and when we went there were only 2 other rooms being occupied so we had the run of the place. The spa was closed unless requested and the pool area was big and empty (no views). It's a good pool with pool bar but drinks take quite a while as everything has to come from the main bar so don't order any cocktails. The hotel is quite spread out so it's a healthy 5-10 minute to get to the pool fro your room. They have a helipad but I doubt it would be safe to land a helicopter there. The sign has been worn away and there's no "H". It's meant to be a advertised picnic spot but you wouldn't want a picnic there. There grounds look quite run down. They graze the water buffalo in the centre but are proud of their run down volleyball court which was occupied by the staff when we went which was weird. There's also a dug out unfinished pond in the centre of the main green area as well as a levelled mud mound so not sure what that's about. Apparently there's an organic garden but we couldn't find that. It was incredibly good value though for £70 a night when we went. We wouldn't have paid full price for this hotel. The bathrooms could do with some updating. The lady hostess we found a little unfriendly but the rest of the staff including the chef were very nice indeed. So yes we'd stay there again. No we wouldn't pay USD230 a night. It's fit for purpose though as you're generally only in the area to climb the rock and once that's done you move on. :)

The hotel is situated in the middle of the jungle.Its a great location to visit Sigiriya (about 30 minutes drive). The moment you enter the hotel you are offered refreshment towels so that you feel fresh and alive and ready enough to experience what EC really is.The room fully equipped with TV - DVD - Air conditioning & etc.Then a dressing room and separate toilet with a beautiful bathroom / wet room.All the staff were very attentive,lovely & Friendly people. The food was excellent and cheap.Am highly recommended.

I had a treatment from there Spa.. it was a great experience. It has done by Ms. Maheshi. She is very friendly. Atmosphere of the hotel is very elegant. We love it. My kid enjoyed a lot. Meals was tasty.
