Sifnos House - Rooms and Spa

Great hotel, nice rooms, real relaxation and a real holiday feeling. I really didn't want to leave here. We had the montipora suite which was on top of the hotel, with a great view on the bay and mountains. The rooms are protected from mosquitoes and are big and has everything you need. The breakfast is great and the staff are very friendly and do there best for you. The location is great, in not far from bars, restaurants and the sea. They have a parking lot also. If we will go back to sifnos, we definitely will come back to this hotel. The streets are small for the cars, for some people, this can be challenging. Also, our room was on the top and only accessible by stars. Also, most of sifnos houses are build on a hill or mountain, also this hotel, so it demands some walking upwards.

From the moment of arrival we were made to feel like we were family and well loved. Christos was super helpful in all things Sifnos related, from getting around the island to a must have dinner reservation. George and his entire staff are dedicated to making sure you have everything you could possible want or need. The breakfast is outstanding and the fresh juices, fruit and desserts are exceptional. Our room was very spacious and the furnishings were very pretty and spa like. Speaking of the spa, I had an hour and half massage which was really out of this world. Our entire Sifnos house stay was absolutely amazing and we can not wait to go back but for a much longer stay. Do not hesitate and book the Sifnos house, you can thank me now!!!

hotel is directly in the port area. a convenient 3 minute walk from the boat. Modern style newer built Facility even has parking area below if you rent a car to get around the island (recommend it). Chris the caretaker is very accommodating and helpful with any question or reservation request. A great breakfast is included with many choices with cheery attending ladies to keep your coffee filled. Room is adequate sized with a rain shower and nicely cold AC, great internet and a small fridge. Had room 17 up a set of stairs, that overlooks town and bay with a nice balcony. Overall Great location would stay here again for sure.

What an amazing stay we had at Sifnos House. The location is perfect (small walk from the port - where you are met with a golf buggy to transport your luggage), one street back from the main village street and beach (so it is quiet, but only a 2min walk from restaurants/bars/shops). The breakfast is a delight. We all looked forward to eating in the quiet courtyard each morning and sampling a range of local home cooked food. We only wished we were more hungry to try it all! The rooms are comfortable and beautifully designed. Molton Brown toiletries, coffee pods, complementary water restocked in your fridge every day. The staff are all welcoming and helpful. We all really enjoyed our stay!

Sifnos House is an outstanding boutique hotel within easy walking distance of the ferry port, even with bags. (I am in my 60s.) The level of personal attention provided by the owners and the small staff complement is remarkable, and there is a reason why this is probably the only TripAdvisor review I have ever seen with hundreds of ratings and NOT ONE below Excellent and Very Good. From the check in, after which Chris very kindly carried out bags to our top floor room, to the beautifully decorated and well-appointed rooms, and the delicious and varied daily breakfasts with lots of special Greek fare, we could not have asked for more. We were fortunate to have a junior suite with a balcony, which gave us an amazing view over the bay, and I would certainly recommend that option. Sifnos House is in the town of Kamares, which has its own blue flag beach, and is where the ferries dock so it is very convenient to hire a car from there too, and we had lots of fun exploring the island, the furthest point of which is not much more than 20 minutes’ drive from the hotel. We loved our five-night stay on Sifnos, and Sifnos House provided us with a most convenient, comfortable and excellently serviced base from which to launch our daily adventures. Grateful thanks to owners George and Dora, managers Chris and Margarita and their friendly and super-efficient teams. Anna tempted us with what sounded like amazing spa treatments but we were too busy exploring the island. Next time!

Very much enjoyed our stay here Have to mention Chris who met us, helped with luggage and gave us lots of useful tips. We liked Sifnos very much and had some great food The breakfast at Sifnos House was really good with a super choice of local dishes and lovely staff. A great choice if your staying on Sifnos as a short walk to the port , beach and good choice of restaurants

From the first minute of being greeted by the wonderful Kris & Anna the experience was fantastic. The rooms (we had both a non sea view and sea view during our 3 night stay) were luxurious and clean with very comfortable beds, super bathrooms and a lot of living space. The interior decor through out has been beautifully designed giving a sophisticated relaxed vibe. Anna and the whole spa experience was outstanding ( we both had treatments indeed it was so good my wife had 2) breakfast was above and beyond - fresh fruits and both continental and cooked options - and the staff were ultra helpful to our needs including my gluten intolerance. Location perfect just a 4 minute walk from the main restaurant and bar area. It was good to meet and have great conversations with George who owns the hotel - we felt at home in this heavenly place - just perfect . Thankyou to everyone at Sifnos House.

Brilliant stay. Loved the staff, spa, rooms, breakfast and the whole atmosphere. Relaxing and quiet but only a few minutes walk away from the port. Very attentive and helpful hosts who helped us book restaurant reservations, hire a car and give us tips for the island. Clean with lovely little touches throughout the hotel.

We had a lovely stay here for 6 nights in early October. Our spacious room was spotlessly clean: simply but comfortably furnished, with bed, sofa, armchair and a well-designed bathroom supplied with quality lotions and cleansers. We had a good sized balcony from which to watch the light changing on the hills and the harbour. It is well located just a few minutes walk from both the port and the waterfront shops and cafes, but quiet enough to leave windows ajar for fresh air. But the comfort and simple elegance of the room was only a small part of the experience: the staff were wonderful and exuded a quiet happiness in their work even as the season was coming to its end. Christos and Tisos in particular were helpful with any queries or arrangements (restaurant recommendations, hire care suggestions, and luggage transfer for this senior couple). Anna’s massages at the spa were maybe the best we’ve ever had for de-tensioning and relaxing us: (so good we had several during our stay), and the friendly cheerful greeting from the breakfast crew every morning was a happy start to the day. We were sad to leave.
