The hotel is just outside the Porta Romana of Siena, and we choose it because it was more convenient, since we arrived by car, and it is not allowed to park inside the gates of the historic part of the city. Overall, the hotel was very good. You could see that the rooms were recently renovated and everything was new. We just didn’t like the fact that, in our room, the beds were in a kind of second floor, and the bathroom was under it, so we had to go up and down the stairs all the time. Also, during the breakfast, the staff serves your food, and I believe it would be easier if they just let the guests take their own food, because, at times, it formed a big line waiting to be served.

Nice hotel within 15 minutes of the station and of the town centre. It is up a hill from the station and the hill continues into town. Because of this there are lovely views from the hotel. After our original booking we decided to upgrade to a room with a terrace which had beautiful views over the town. The hotel also has a really pretty garden - on the upper level you can have your breakfast rather than eating inside. On the lower level there are comfy seats. Our room was fairly basic but very clean and the air conditioning was brilliant. Breakfast was continental with a mix of ham, eggs, cheese, cakes, pastries, fruit, cereals, bread, jams and honey. A great choice. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and let us leave our bags after checking out while we went out for a few hours before catching our train. Also a couple of nice bars and restaurants very close by if you don’t want to walk into town.

First of all, the service is very good. The front desk is super welcoming. It is the most enthusiastic hotel I have stayed at in Italy in two years. Seeing that I am a foreigner and I always communicate very slowly in English, I said that I can speak Italian with me, and then the waiter hurriedly I am sorry, and then answered my question patiently. The public environment is very artistic and retro. There is a garden outside. It is comfortable to sit on the sofa in the garden at night. The room is comfortable and the facilities are complete. The only shortcoming is that the breakfast is not. It’s made now, it feels like it was bought in the supermarket and eaten directly, and there are fewer varieties, overall it’s not bad, after all, the house price is relatively low, it’s good value for money 😁

Our six night stay at B&B Le Aquile was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The location couldn't be better - right next to the Campo, and one minute walk to the Duomo. The Hosts were amazing. Massimo shared his passion of Siena's history and culture with us, and gave us a special tour of ancient fresnos in his centuries old property. We appreciated his passion and his kindness. Ada was superwoman ! She helped us every day with direcions, transportation, restaurants and what to do and see in Siena. Ada is one of the best hosts we have ever had while travelling. Both of them made our six day stay in Siena very special. Siena is also a great base to explore Tuscany and Umbra - amazing landscapes, food and wine. Highest reccomendation possible !

I book 5 rooms asking 2 to be on the ground floor, specifying that there are 3 ultra ninety years old. One of the rooms has an indoor staircase (not the maximum for old people); moreover, they don't tell me that the breakfast room is on the floor -1, with a beautiful staircase and no lift. Pessimist breakfast, less than the minimum trade union; unprofessional staff (the check in did not deliver us the keys before we registered all of you, before we paid!). The three 1990s above, standing up to wait for all these preliminary operations (the slowness in making our generals was embarrassing). Circonium on the cake: they're wrong with the count and I realize it the evening of returning, just arrived home (on June 24th); I'm calling them immediately, they ask me to send a mail. They answer after 10 gg and several speeds, telling me that I would have received the refund the next few days. I'm still waiting, I'll have sent 50 mails and called several times. “We passed your communication to the administration”! You are unjust and unhappy!

Ottima posizione vicina al centro, ma fuori dalla confusione, al parcheggio convenzionato (per salire ci sono le scale mobili), di fronte un Carrefour e diversi locali a pochi passi. Le camere hanno nome di erbe aromatiche e sono arredate con i colori della pianta. La nostra era ”Salvia”, grande, armadio capiente, letto comodo, con bollitore, grande telvisione condizionatore silenzioso. Ottima la qualità del sonno data anche dalla quiete e il buio con persione e e tende. Bagno ampio, doccia spaziosa, ottimi i prodotti cortesia!Pulizia impeccabile. Colazione dolce e salata completa. Un grazie a Roberto, che,oltre alla simpatia e disponibilità, ci ha raccontato aspetti di Siena meno conosciuti e indicato luoghi e avvenimenti particolari. Consigliatissimo!

We were excited to stay at La Dimora Dei Monaci for our honeymoon, but the room we were assigned was disappointing. It was outdated, with mismatched furniture that made it feel more like an office than a guest room. Several outlets weren’t working, and the radiator provided minimal heat, which was an issue during the chilly nights. Upon further review, we realized that the room tier we had booked had been downgraded online since we made our reservation, making it the lowest option available. Despite our polite request to switch to a different room, we were informed that no alternatives were available. What was incredibly concerning was that staff entered our room without asking while we were out. They unplugged our laptop to fix an outlet issue with another guest’s TV, leaving us with only one working outlet. There was no communication about this beforehand, which left us feeling uncomfortable about the lack of privacy and respect for our space.

GGuest UserWe spent four nights in Palazzo del Magnifico and were delighted with our choice of B&B. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. This husband and wife team do everything they can to make your stay in Siena wonderful. Our room looked out at the rear of the Cathedral onto a piazza, which is a stunning sight. Fresh towels, ultra clean room and bathroom, with a piping hot shower. We were even able to borrow an iron to press my shirt for a wedding. Filippo set out the buffet breakfast, a table laden with a wide choice of goodies: juices, croissants, cakes, bread, yoghurt, fresh fruit, conserves, cereal, ham, cheese. Plus he brought tea or coffee to our table with refills as required. Those breakfasts were fuel for our days in Siena. The Palazzo has lots of history (see their website), and we found it nicely located with just a short walk to Il Campo ( where the Palio takes place). A small supermarket is just three minutes away. Our host were great. Filippo even booked us a taxi to take us to the train station on our last day. I recommend Palazzo del Magnifico unreservedly. I shall stay there again if I return to Siena.

GGuest UserI stayed at this facility during a tour that I had organized in Tuscany, the facility is located in a quite comfortable area to access the city and there are many parkings on the road, so, Although the building is not equipped with private parking, we have never had any problems to park nearby inside there is a room that is dedicated to breakfast, very wide and lightened the room is large, The bathroom is spacious, the shower was very large and comfortable, there were both duches and towels . everything was very clean I have to say that everything was very clean and staff very amable I don't know how breakfast is because we went to make it at the Corsini bakery (cake star winner 2022) that is 10 minutes from the B & B despite all rooms were busy we had noise problems there are two negative points for me One is that there is no small frigobar (vakuum) in the room, having a refrigerator for medicines I take I had to use my refrigerator that I keep in the car another negative point that there is no chance of being able to take a coffee or a bottle of water during day/night ... would be great a distributor is certainly a very good structure for anyone who wants to stay in Siena, outside the very chaotic tourist center, but reachable in 10 minutes walk below the Ovile door and the mobile scale of the San Francesco parking

Reserved for a distant night of August. Easy to find structure only with crossing through ztl. So you need registration through the municipal site. Easy to find parking in front of the structure. The hotel is located in the city centre of the city, and is located in the city centre of the city. Although we are not smokers, we are going to go a tour and see that the structure has a beautiful garden, but not treated for years. For the rest, the room is recently renovated, everything is new, we don't suffer too warm, the fridge is OK, the wi-fi works, the bathroom is small but functional. With a little more care in details, it would be an imperviable solution for those who go to Siena.

My colleague and I spent 11 days in Siena, partly a professional conference and partly fun. This hidden gem B&B was only a few minutes’ walk from either historical sites in the center or the university. The two-room setup (plus private bath) provided each of us with a large comfortable bed that would easily have accommodated a couple. If we had been a larger group, there is also a full-sized pull-out bed in the living room couch. Our hosts were warm, charming, and generous. On request, they immediately provided an additional table for our books, papers, and lap-tops; also an iron for our professional clothes; and access to the breakfast-room refrigerator for my special dietary needs. We loved that the building was five centuries old (marble floors, tall windows, brick walls, high ceilings, frescoes), but with modern conveniences. The view across fields and gardens to a distant palazzo was breathtaking. Glorious sunup and sunset. Ample breakfast was also available for a small additional charge.

We’ve stayed here many times but the previous time was six years ago so I was impressed at being remembered. The positives are great: central location, very clean rooms which are spare and elegant , friendly and helpful staff. The continental breakfast is better than it was but a little spartan. Put a refrigerator in the rooms and it would be better than some 3 stars we’ve been in. We will be back!
