We were originally booked with an Airbnb in a small village, turns out the host sent us the wrong address and we spend hours driving around hours away from where we should have. Airbnb has given us back our money. We ended up in Siena after 7 PM, exhausted and sick. Angela was the front desk attendant who was a breath of fresh air. She got us a garden view quiet room and told us of a lovely trattoria just down the street. Next day woke up to to find out my husband cellulitis had returned, he needed a hospital fast. Went to our rental car to find the battery dead. Went back to the lobby and the same Angela promptly phoned a taxi for my husband and phoned the car rental to have them charge the battery. Her excellent customer service and kindness was a god send for us. We actually stayed 2 nights and throughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel was very clean, room was nice and bed comfortable, pool area was nice and we had our lunch here. We definitely want to come back to Siena again and will stay at this hotel again. Shower was poorly designed...i took a shower and the water went right thru the doors and made a mess. I booked it thru Priceline which advertised laundry, and there wasnt. It also listed more amenities but didnt see them....False advertising. Room was okay. Ceiling light bulbs need replaced.

Profesional, clean and good breakfast. The hotel has a good position . 10 minutes by car and 15 min by bus. If you wsnt to walk it will take 25 min till the storical center. Siena georgeus by the way! I founs hotel la colonna online and was not very sour at the beginning but i will come back for sure!

We paid an extra €70 for a double room with a garden view as opposed to the regular street view. Visible from the room window was a gravel roof of a building below and a car park, we raised this issue with the staff at reception and we were told there was nothing that they could do and we had to pay the premium for the room anyway. Staff insisted that the extra charge was not only attributed to the view but also the lack of noise from the road at the front of the hotel, the traffic however can still be heard from these “garden view” rooms. P.s be prepared to pay tourism/hotel tax at checkout based on the length of your stay, details are not included in the information given by the hotel and this may not be common knowledge for tourists.

For our anniversary we chose Hotel La Colonna. We chose a pool view room and it was very quiet. Impeccable cleanliness. Simple but chosen and nice furnishings. Abundant sweet and savory breakfast. They have paid internal parking but we opted for the free public parking. To return when they open the swimming pool.

My girlfriend and I booked a double room 4/5 days before our arrival in Siena! Check in was from 2pm. On the same day we had an overnight stay, at around 4:00 pm we received a message and subsequently a call from the hotel the column. The room we booked had never actually been there. They only had a room with two single beds which they tried to stuff into us, but failed. They then guaranteed us another room in another hotel with the same money. Room that was absolutely not worth the money we paid for their double room. We were forced to ask for a refund and look for a room in another hotel on our own at the last minute, spending more money. This mistake of theirs caused us great inconvenience, wasting precious time of our limited holidays.

Room ok, clean and there is everything you need, TV with remote control not working! Poor breakfast! Only coffee from a machine that was empty! Without coffee! I asked if it was possible to have a decaf coffee and they said no! I will never come to this hotel again!!!
