Hotels in Taphul Village Area, Siem Reap

Booked this hotel only for two nights 6-8 Jan. My past experience during my earlier travels in some cases was bad in the sense the hotel description and photographs were not factual. I reached the Angkor land Urban Botuque on 6 Jan afternoon to check in. First look at the Hotel building told me I have made the right choice. The most happening place in Siem Reap the Pub Street was about a km away. The hotel surrounding were very clean with a wide road in front and a big parking space in front. As soon as I entered the huge lobby with teak wood interiors I was greeted by the the hotel staff team. Check in took just a couple of minutes. Meanwhile the Manager of the hotel Mr. Eng Sona came and met me too which was a nice feeling. He said he is giving me a very good room on the fourth floor and if I did not mind he would shift me to a still better room the very next day which was then occupied. The room was very big and very comfortable. Had all the amenities. The next day the Manager showed me the other room on the third floor. I agreed to shift. This room too was large, the bathroom had a bath tub and in addition a separate glass bath enclosure too. It had a balcony too overlooking the swimming pool. The pool was excellent. Breakfast menu was also very good. The hotel arranged my tours too. Tuk Tuk and the motorcycle buggy called the Remork was always available just outside the hotel.. After this most wonderful experience in the first two days I extended my stay further for the remaining days too from 8- 11 Jan 24. The Manager Mr.Sona met me regularly to enquire if I was comfortable and whether I needed anything. His team of young boys and girls too were very responsive and greeted the guests everytime. I did not find any flaw or anything to complain about during my entire stay. I had the the most memorable experience in Angkor Land Urban Boutique thanks to Mr. Sona the Manager and his team.

A friend had booked a room for me in this hotel for four nights. I was on the ground floor, and was very happy with the room. Air conditioning worked well, and although I was close to the reception area, the room was quiet, clean and comfortable A large double bed and some oversized furniture is used to furnish the room. Cambodian furniture is massive, a cherry red color and practically speaking, immovable. Had NO problems with the internet and had a good nights sleep. Outside the hotel are tuk tuks - dedicated to the hotel - ready to whisk away any visitor to any part of the city one chooses to vist. The drivers do speak English. Breakfast is served on the roof of the hotel, and for a vegetarian the selection was adequate - barely. Cost of the buffet is USD 5.00 Alongside the rooftop breakfast room (terrace) there is a small swimming pool, more suited to those who wish to cool off, rather than those hoping to swim laps. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hotel. A couple of major markets are within walking distance. Vit KIng restaurant (exclusively vegetarian) IS close by, but the selection is pretty limited unfortunately. Siem Reap is a nice town, well worth spending a few days in. Pretty much wherever one would want to go (with the exception of some attractions like Angkor Wat), is within walking street - the entertainment hub, and tourist market - Pub Street is nearby. If staying more than a night, ask for a discounted rate. The reception desk staff are helpful and well informed.

Cambodia １２ First time. The price is low, but the refrigerator is cold well. Cooler is made in Japan Important in Cambodia Staff who can respond in Japanese are all around, so students can remove intercultural anxiety. It is very important that people who meet on a trip 々 can speak Japanese. There are convenience stores and laundry １ KG －１ dollars nearby, and there are many delicious and quiet restaurants. It's about ２ dollars easier than the center. １ Food ２－５ USD. The room is large and if you want to change the towel, you can go pick it up by yourself, and you can go pick it up by yourself, although you have water, but you can go to pick it up by yourself. In addition, I was surprised that the water in the pool was clean with coffee and service water. Network ８０ M is included, so you can work. The size and cleanliness of the room are perfect. A kind inn in an area where Japanese people are easy to live. I've stayed at about twice as much as ５ at this hotel so far, but I wonder how many steps that were. I was quite tired of the hotel where I spent time communicating in English with care. There are desk chairs in the garden, so you can relax.

I had stayed at Siem Reap province for 4nights with good location (La Maravilla). The hotel grounds was well maintained and feature with a nice pool view. Rooms are well appointed with everything you need for my stayed, Staff super friendly with good service.

The hotel is old, but the room is large and the water comes out well, and I am willing to return in the future. It is very convenient as it is a minute away from the bus stop / Korean restaurant that is quiet and can be moved to other areas across the street.

Our honeymoon, amazing location & fantastic view. The start off our trip in Siem Reap, was seamless. End to end airport pickup & drop off. Great service, and accommodating to our tour Angkor Wat. The hotel Manager made us feel like family. Highly recommend for future stay. Thank you

Cute little hotel and the price is right. Rooms are a little worn but very clean. Beds are firm but clean and comfortable enough. They provide a small amount of bottled water daily as well as a small plate of fresh fruit each day, which is nice touch. Staff at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. Laundry is $1/kg and returned the same day if you drop it off in the morning. The pool is cool, clean and great for refreshing after a hot day at the temples. The area is quite walkable and there are good restaurants very close by, including a nice French cafe for brunch just down the street. However - we had an electronic item stolen from our room while we were there. The staff were remarkably unconcerned when we reported it, and we didn't even hear from a manager. So learn from our mistake and don't fall for the ”family owned” vibe - either they have staff who can't be trusted or their security is so lacking that people are breaking in from outdoors. Either use the safe (although we all know those are dubiously secure too) or take your valuables with you when you go out.

152 yuan for two nights. The night market is not far from the old market. There is everything in the room, refrigerator, safe, flat-screen TV, kettle, hair dryer, air conditioning, toiletries, free 2 sticks of water per day, two bags of three-in-one coffee. Slippers, hot shower. Very satisfied with the price, the service is super good and there is a supermarket opposite. Disadvantages: There always comes in the basement of the room, The opposite temple sings at six in the morning All in all very satisfied.

La mia esperienza in questa struttura è più che positiva: la struttura è infatti comodissima al centro (in 5 minuti a piedi si raggiunge pub street) ma non così tanto, per cui la qualità del sonno è comunque alta. Viaggiando da solo, la camera che mi è stata assegnata era molto spaziosa, con bagno dotato sia di doccia che di vasca, scrivania ed un ampio armadio. Molto comodo il letto. Il personale della struttura è molto gentile e la colazione, non a buffet, ma richiesta e servita al tavolo è adeguata. Molto comoda la piscina che, seppur piccolina e nel tardo pomeriggio in ombra, offre un gradito refrigerio dopo la visita della città e dei templi di Angkor.
