I am loathed to write the following review, but feel compelled I need to do so. I arrived at this supposedly 4 Star hotel even the driver got lost bringing me to the place, as it was down a dingy road not very invited for a guest that travelled far. Initially a pleasant enough girl who claimed she could speak English greeted me, but over time I did not find that and she would often get confused. Well she showed me to my room up a flight of two stairs, by the way no elevator and such high steps, I am struggling with a suitcase and a bag. Got to the room did not like it, she suggested using another stairs, so I did and they were worse had very high steps not at all safe. In the end I transferred my room downstairs near the pool. Next day and subsequent days I went to the dining area, nothing was prepared for guests, fans not on, table not set with cutlery on it and some welcome. Incidentally my room and others had a very dark wood, my room had no TV (I told the owner and he said he would put in a TV but nothing happened, no phone by bedside. The bathroom was very small if one turned around you would walk into a glass panel. Then if you had a shower it would sometimes come to the wash hand basin. One night I did not want to go out so I asked for a simple meal consisting of boiled potatoes, fried egg and tomatoes. I was informed they do not do it inside the premises but outside. Actually I had to wait for the food it came from outside, my God it was awful never had so much awful food in my life. Another day I requested a massage and again I was informed it’s an outside service, so I got the massage, the girl was good. Then another day I asked for another massage, but when I was leaving I thought I had paid for it, well my God the receptionist was going around like someone possessed and I had genuinely forgot to pay. But again this is down to the fact they have noting on site. They had an old food brochure and the girl said was due to the sun I am in the print trade and I know that was done some time ago, the print had gone from the page. There was no receptionist the girl was just part time, nobody could speak English, yes the owner could but was hardly every there. No drinks or food was at the premises. No Cashier to change money and advice. I would also like to say I am a Coeliac but got no extra free service as I provided my own cereals and tea. I paid ¢30 per night but it was just worth ¢10 per night, in fact a guest house or home stay would be better I would like to say it’s the worse hotel I have ever stayed at in Cambodia
