Don’t book. Sadly something must have gone terribly wrong since the last reviews of this resort. The place is not maintained - there was no restaurant, no spa, no poolbar as claimed. Apparently nobody has stayed here for a long time and the photos are surely very old. Two dirty sun beds had been placed by the pool side for our stay. Hardly any of the long list of amenities were present in the room. What is worse is that the room was hardly dusted, surfaces were sticky and towels were old and stained. The hot water in the shower was dangerously hot, I almost burnt my skin and got a big bruise on my foot as I dropped the heavy shower head on my foot due to the shock. There was nobody else around, not even staff - very spooky. We had booked the “resort” for five nights and the hotel had demanded a pre-payment, total scam. We had to leave after one night- there was no way we could have stayed there for a second longer. I am a seasoned SA Asia traveler and have visited Siem reap several times. There are plenty of nice places to stay in the vicinity and the larger Siem Reap- even for a lesser price. This experience was a shock and the owner/ manager seems not to be responding to the request of reimbursement either.
