Friendly and helpful staff, nice cambodian food, perfect location for recreation outside the center. Refreshing pool. Room was convenient and modern equipped. Transportation to bus station or airport can be organized if necessary. A real nice place to stay.

A beautiful boutique hotel in a quiet area of Siem Reap. Attentive and very kind staff. The rooms were clean and very well decorated with attention to details, providing for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel. Like an oasis. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, excellent choice of dishes. Room was airy and view out to pool was great. The plants around the pool is very well done. Swimming pool was cleaned daily. Refreshing having a swim in the pool.

Great stay from beginning to end… good email communication to book car from and to the airport. checking in was a breeze. Room is fresh and very clean. All staff very friendly and attentive. Restaurant menu is good mix of western and Khmer, and all tasty. We booked the option with tuk tuk included in room, very handy to have a local driver to get to temples and town… our driver Mr Cham (I hope i spelled this correctly) was AMAZING. Will definitely stay again!!

We first stayed here 9 years ago on our honeymoon, so it's dear to our hearts. Pavillon d'Orient always ranked in the top 10 travellers choice hotels in Siem Reap til it closed for a refresh briefly in 2022. It's now better than ever, but sadly, the hundreds of glowing tripadvisor reviews and fab traveller pics it deservedly accumulated over the years seem to have been lost! The staff are wonderdul, everything has been painted, polished, buffed and beautified, the gardens are delightfully lush, and the pool is sparkling. There are super comfy latex mattresses on the beds, (rare in Asia compared to the ubiquitous rock hard inner spring!) The rooms are huge, all have balconies, and the restaurant is pretty good too. It's a lush, peaceful retreat from the world, and the tuktuk driver included in the room rate means the peace doesn't cost extra $ every time you want to tootle down to pub street, the markets, or our current favorites, Pou restaraunt (awesome mod Khmer food), and V. Salon & Spa (the best Khmer massage I've ever had - and I've had many)!

If you like beautiful boutique hotels, I can highly recommend this hotel. The hotel, garden and pool are beautiful. The room is very large with seating and has everything you can expect from a 4 star hotel. Everything appears well maintained and well cared for. Their employees are super friendly and managed by a fantastic hotel manager who is very friendly, attentive and solves every small issue. All in all, we can recommend the hotel to everyone and will definitely come again.

An oasis to land before and after Angkor Wat visiting days. They organized a tuktuk (remork) with the best driver Bou for us. Mr Rom explained everything in English and Sarah the owner makes you feel welcome every time. We had fruit breakfast also to go to the sunrise and lovely fried rice and Tom Yum soup all super good. Good coffee too;-) very important to me. Relax at the pool. Heaven of trees and plants. Great beds!! Big rooms! Bou can also show you the villages and the people who live in fishing villages. He comes very recommended. What I also enjoyed is the fact that it is a bit outside of Siem Reap so you will have an oasis at home that feels local too and in a few minutes in tuktuk (remork) which is cheap, you are in town. So do go here. You’ll love it!

We’ve just spent our third of 14 nights here and boy, are we impressed. Fabulous swimming pool with very comfortable day beds, the cushions appear to be brand new. The pool side vibe is oasis. The room itself is large and with the added area of the balcony which overlooks the pool area, there’s plenty of room. Lovely dark timber floors and the bed and pillows are comfortable. Great air conditioning but we prefer a fan which was provided upon request. Good restaurants within an easy walk. It’s in a very quiet area about a 10 minute tuk tuk ride in to Pub Street but at only US$2.00, transportation is quick and cheap. We chose this location as we wanted peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got. Great service in room and pool side. The food is tasty, is of a good size and reasonably priced. You won’t go hungry. The owner and staff are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. Marirath isn’t new but it’s very clean and has a beautiful vibe and great pricing for the budget conscious.

Our family of 8 with 2 children stayed at the Marirath Hotel right after April's Cambodian New Year festival. The French colonial building and its decoration surrounded by the lush green garden created a calm and comfortable feeling in the middle of the busy street of Siem Reap. I booked 4 rooms and each room was very spacious with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The restaurant is located in the front reception area. The menu offers both Western and local home-cooked meals with a big complimentary plate of fruits after each meal. The hotel is owned and managed by a Cambodian family. The owner Sarath and her staff are very accommodating and provide the best care at their full capacity. We were amazed by Rath’s friendly personality, kindness and humour. She treated us like her family members with respect for our privacy as well.
