The location is very close to Juanda Airport. Rooms are small but clean. Only towels and soap are provided. There is no elevator so items have to be lifted via stairs. The dining area is spacious, bread and coffee and tea are provided for breakfast.

Got a transit flight to Makassar on the next day, I decided to stay in this hotel. Location is perfect, inside the Terminal 1 Juanda Airport so no need to use transportation anymore (If your flight domestik). Receptiont named Devi was nice and cheerful, the Bar staff is also awesome. Feels like stay at my home. Thank you guys for your service. Love it so much !

Just done stayed here for 2 nights (4-6/12/2023)
I see the struggle in this place. Not enough guest coming in due small place (about 16-18m²)
Great things about this are how polite they are, menus on buffet are good enough (great texture, fairly tasty)
The price are affordable, but unfortunately only 1 type of room (deluxe, with twin/double bed), starts at 260k (exclude breakfast) (deposit 50k is needed)
Location is packed with cafe & 1 mall only, kinda not strategic. Room is ok from introvert perspective, but not healthy (no window on ground/first floor rooms). Amenities are completed as general. When i arrived at my room for first time, duvet has a bit of old stain (its fine but people may be nitpick)

Didn't know what to expect, I booked one night. Boy, how regretful I was. Wish I stayed longer. Bed & pillow were super comfortable. And the surprise? BOLSTER...! I immediately feel at home & indeed, I slept like baby. AC was okay, but the hot water pressure was consistently great, and it made my ritual of hot shower before going to bed perfectly kept. One thing I noticed is how the attention to detail is given to ensure the cleanliness is kept around the clock. 4 times I went to the public toilet and the seat is ALWAYS dry and clean. Yes, I have an serious case of OCD & yet I can't fault the cleanliness. Although a bit dark in Reception desk, Putri the receptionist is always eager to assist. The others need to learn from her professional hospitality attitude. Lobby is small but functional. The Hall meeting room is spacious. My meeting arrangement was easily accommodated and professionally well taken care of by Freshi Moreno. A big thank you for extending your flexibility toward my changing meeting arrangement need. Breakfast selection was varied & satisfying but the group's loud chatters turned off my appetite slightly. Location is great, rate is affordable but at product this good it should've fetched a few more rupiah. Concussion: Stay here. Period. Highly recommended.

NNavigate606086A very efficient check-in service by Ms. Bertha at the receptionist who gave us a lot of information about the hotel facilities and welcomed us with a warm welcome, her security staff was quite helpful with our belongings. This is our fourth visit to Sidoarjo and Sun Hotel is our second home, this time we tried the Deluxe room and the room was quite large, very clean, the facilities in the room were quite complete, especially his bathtub with a warm bath that could wipe out the exhaustion after our long journey. Breakfast at Tessera Coffee shop with a wide variety of local food and there are also a variation in some Continental breakfast menus, Mr. Dhimas General Manager and Mr. Maghfur FB Manager are very friendly with keeping communication with us and some guests who were on breakfast. The staff-staff were friendly and attentive. We could meet our guests at the Verona lobby lounge (next to the lobby area) and enjoyed fresh juices that were very fresh. Thank you to Mr. Dhimas and all staffs The Sun Hotel Sidoarjo, we will always come back if we visit the city of Sidoarjo.

SSzelvesz23We booked a night in that hotel for being near the airport and offering transfer service from it. As in Indonesia we could not call, we wrote a message with the flight number and time of arrival and they confirmed our request. At first, there was no one waiting for us at the airport and we had to move on our own. Once at the reception, they told us that we should have called ... after we had left the airport, they missed us from the hotel itself: it turned out that, not married, ¡ we had no right to sleep there, Not in separate beds even! What was indignant to us, since nowhere appeared that requirement or that it was a Muslim institute. Totally, at 11 p.m. we were forced to seek another accommodation. The receptionist pointed out some names of nearby hotels.

WWina BWe were welcomed by the FO officers who were a very sick and expensive smile. No attitude to help. And no afraid that the double bed was out. I'm sorry I took this hotel even for a few hours because I had to leave town at 5am.

Gym is not good, equipment is not maintained .. The room is quite clean, only the mattress feels hard and the dust is thin, so it is uncomfortable .. The sofa is comfortable but it is already dumb
There is no heating kettle, the drink provided is not worth the glass bottle that is broken .. Towels are only provided 1.
No cable tv, only digital tv.. Facilities are not available, only soap and shampoo 2 in 1..

Bbelgianguy1Clean and cheap, and located very near the airport (in fact, easily walkable, at least to T2)...Interesting concept, long corridor with private cubicles on both sides, equipped with a light, small foldable table, charge point...shared bathroom was clean too, and the shower hot and strong...oh and super friendly check-in staff too...absolutely great value!
