We had a lovely couple of nights here again with the usual high standards we come to expect from the hotel and the staff. However there appeared to be a gremlin at work in the bar area, a fractious dispute with Stuart the so called 'bar manager' and the head of that area Miklos who didn't really do much to stem the problem, just walked around trying to look busy and scurrying off to avoid doing anything to stop the atmosphere from getting worse. All the other members of the bar staff were trying to put a brave face on it without much success. We complained that the bottle of wine we ordered at £33 was served warm, chosen by Stuart.Stuart was quite rude. We heard him say oh just give them the same bottle again in the restaurant. Penny came to the rescue and put a bottle on ice for us to have in the restaurant. Bit of an attitude problem with Stuart unfortunately, he just seemed so grumpy. Restaurant staff manager Dora and the rest of the restaurant team were first class as normal, very professional and friendly, as were the door men and receptionists.
