I think this hotel certainly has its ups and downs, we had an amazing holiday but i will say it was mainly the weather and being by a pool that made it. The food wasn't good to put it simply, there wasn’t much variation day to day especially at breakfast and lunch. The ‘buffet’ main restaurant was meh for lunch and dinner as a lot to choose from such as roast chicken and marconi cheese that was nice, while the rest not so much. The separate a la carte restaurants were disappointing i’ll leave it at that. The snack bar near the auditorium was decent and had pizzas burgers etc but the same every day. The gozlemes were fantastic as were the ladies making them. The lunch restaurant harbour town was decent but again the same food every day. The local restaurant outside the hotel, the golden fizz, was excellent Phil was so friendly and attentive . The rooms, we had a slight issue with a room connection that we specifically booked and we were not gave. We weren't accommodated in the end and were 5 doors away from our family which wasn’t so bad, but not what we booked. The room standards on the other hand were excellent both of our rooms were so clean and restocked every day! The service was hit or miss, sometimes very kind attentive staff, others rude and often mess up drink orders. The men who work in the shop were so funny when you get to speak to them. The best drinks were in the Irish bar, they have a much better cocktail menu but this is open from 5pm. The pool bars were okay the cocktail menu was all pretty samey such as gin fizz, aperol spritz etc. The wines they have aren’t nice, they have no flavour to them. They over pour spirits so much if you aren’t wanting to have rougly 5 double shots of vodka in a splash of pineapple at 10am . The water slides are so so good! Especially the cobra slide, however the stairs were terrifying on this slide haha. The pools standards were lovely the main pool was very clean, what i don’t understand is why they don’t have a pool bar they have the perfect space for it! It is also one massive pool at the hotel and it’s good to swim around it and it takes you a fair minute. While i didn’t go to the beach myself my sister and mum did they said it was average. The clothes shop in the hotel was excellent they had a huge variety. Overall i would rate the experience and the hotel a 3/5. A decent hotel but wouldn’t return.
